Coordinators (SiGeKo)
Our Safety and Health Coordinators are experienced in coordination of small
as well as large construction sites and have years of experience as
Occupational Health and Safety Specialists in large-scale construction
projects also. They speak business English fluently and have additional
qualifications in construction and environmental matters.
The Safety and Health Coordinator represents the interface between client,
customer and authorities. His task as a technical expert is to support and
to advise the client as well as planners, architects and construction companies in implementing the safety and health protection requirements in the
different stages of a project within their cooperation. With his expert
knowledge he contributes that the construction project and process as well
as subsequent works on the built object are carried out safely at all times.
The tasks of the Safety and Health Coordinator during planning of the
realisation of a construction project include:
Intergration of safety and health protection in the organization and
management concept of a construction project
Development of protective measures against risks arising from and in
cooperation of several companies
Development of measures for common use of safety equipment and
facilities for health protection (Safety and Health Plan – SiGe-Plan)
Arrangement of safety and health protection within a concept for
subsequent works on the built object (base document)
