Arcadia’s UW Series is
a unitized/panelized curtain wall system available in both captured, 2
side or 4 side structural
glazed in a variety of
depths, profiles and
finishes. Arcadia works
closely with architects
promoting highly comprehensive custom unitized/panelized curtain wall
systems combining both cutting-edge
design and performance.
Success of a project depends in large
part on creating solid estimates during the pre-construction and schematic design phase. Arcadia’s design
and estimating staff works closely
with architects, contractors, construction managers and owners to identify
efficiencies that can provide substantial cost savings.
Arcadia’s commitment to assist the
architect with detailing, material applications, finishes and constructability
issues ensures that the project application meets - and exceed - expectations.
Project
Management
Being a highly structured process our
project management staff has had
a wide range of experience on complex projects. While understanding
dynamics and the logistics within the
construction process Arcadia is committed to both quality and schedule.
That commitment is executed while
implementing a program of reporting
methods, supporting ongoing internal
progress meetings, reviewing schedules, engineering status, submittal
approvals and manufacturing status.
The Arcadia UW Series meets key
specifications for the following
performance test standards
Air Infiltration
ASTM E 283
Water - static

Manufacturing
Capabilities
Within our 200,000
square foot facility we
have the capabilities to
finish, fabricate, assemble and glaze the
most complex projects.
Before all production
begins laboratory test
mock-ups are erected to
perform all required performance testing per AAMA, ASTM
and NFRC standards.
The entire process, from design
to drawing preparation, material
management, testing, fabrication,
assembly, glazing,
packing and shipping
is completed in-house.
The manufacturing process is also
inspected at every
juncture through our
Quality Control Program. Having these
production controls
allows Arcadia to
maintain all schedule
requirements.
Green &
Sustainability
The curtain wall industry has
evolved rapidly over the past
decade and Arcadia is in step with
the technological trends in every
arena. Arcadia’s design and engineering group has the unique ability to provide component modeling
for energy values related to National Fenestration Rating Council
(NFRC) compliance, shading and
day lighting analysis. Arcadia is
committed to develop and maintain products that comply with the
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Core
and Shell Rating System.
Arcadia is also supporting the
fast growing trend toward Building Information Modeling technology by developing and providing
BIM-based design tools enabling
architects, mechanical engineers
and general contractors to simulate, analyze and document their
designs more efficiently and accurately and ultimately deliver greener building systems and healthier
more resource-efficient buildings.
Optimizing energy performance
in buildings
requires an integrated approach
to building systems designs,
analysis and
implementation.
Building-Integrated Photovoltaics
(BIPV) is an increasingly popular approach for using the building
skin as a means to harvest solar
energy. More recent techniques
involve systems of lighting, lighting
controls, sensors and shading devices all integrated with the building HVAC system.
Arcadia has the ability to develop
custom integrated systems in response to your particular building
performance requirements.
