Rules
The Music Masterclasses offer to young musicians a rare opportunity to play with internationally
recognised orchestra players and concert performers, to develop robust technical skills which
are essential for a professional career in this field.
During Villa Pennisi in Musica Masterclass, a number of essays will be included in the program of
Villa Pennisi in Musica 2016 Festival.
Teachers and concert performers will choose the students participating at the essays.
The costs of travel, accommodation and allowances have to be covered by the students. A list of
hotels and B&Bs will be sent to each student upon reaching the minimum number of participants
for the activation of each course.
At the end of the Masterclasses each student will receive a certificate of participation and
attendance.

MASTERCLASSES RULES
SPECIAL COURSE
Open studio and VPM Orchestra - Ezio Bosso
To participate:
No age limit.
No admission exam.
Individual and group lessons.
Students will choose for their masterclass the compositions they aim to improve.
Specific attention will be paid to the preparation of programs for auditions and competitions.
The masterclass will be activated with a minimum of FIVE (5) and will accepts up to TEN (10)
students.
Students exceeding the maximum number will be able to participate as AUDITORS.
The lists will be drawn up on the basis of the date of receipt of the email accompanied by proof
of payment of the registration fee.
All classes will be held at ​

Students will have to sign a release form authorizing the future use of any radio, television,
recordings, films and pictures taken ​

Villa Pennisi in Musica 2016​

Students under 18 will have to provide the parent consent.
The organization accepts no liability for theft, damage or accidents during the period of the
Masterclass. Students are advised to make arrangements with their own insurance company.
The organization reserves the right to amend these rules without prior notice. Any changes will
be posted on the site www.vpmusica.com
Any dispute will be settled by the Court of Catania.

Registration and Attendance:
Masterclass cost is divided in two steps:​
registration fee + attendance fee
REGISTRATION FEE - € 50,00

OPEN STUDIO
In ​
open studio​
there is no age limit or preparation, gender or instrument.
Because the most important thing that music teaches us is to listen ....
You can participate in any way/form you like during ​
Villa Pennisi in Musica days: you can bring
the song you want to learn with the Master, you can rehearse a music you like or a program for a
concert or an exam; you can show your own composition or your personal questions on music or
"how to do music".
We will talk about music, making music, sound, awareness, memory, sound listening techniques,
space and rooms and even more.
All this is inspired by making music as a shared act, which makes each of us at the same time
protagonist and real sound.
To attend lectures:

MASTERCLASSES RULES
All masterclasses regular students are allowed to attend the Open Studio for free.
To attend lectures by Ezio Bosso, it is possible to buy a carnet for the entire course (all days of
classes) to be paid before 24th JULY 2016. The payment can be made by postal order or bank
transfer. The receipt of payment, together with the personal data (name, address, phone number

VPM ORCHESTRA
Students of Violin, Viola, Doublebass masterclasses' will take part to the final concert on august
13th, directed by Maestro Ezio Bosso
