We try to publish and distribute the best
and most appropriate health education
materials aimed at creating widespread
awareness among the general public in
urban and rural areas. Our publications
include books, booklets, research reports,
monographs, posters, flashcards, and audiovisual material. We hope that this education
and information service will also keep them
updated on progress in the health and
development sector.

ONLINE RESOURCE CENTRE is a VHAI & Sasakava
Peace Foundation’s (Japan), collaborative effort
to address the problems faced by NGOs and
development organizations in accessing information
which already exists but not accessible when
required.
Online Resource Centre tries to bring NGOs working
in different areas and regions through a web based
information network accessible from anywhere
in the world. It also provides a one stop shop for
development information and provide a wide
market for their products and services.
Objectives

Solve the gaps between NGOs and the

Facilitate an internet based network of service
providers, researchers and policy makers
on priority issues and issues of common
concern.
Provide and test content, connectivity and
training options to enable optimal use of this

This website is a special initiative of VHAI. Its main purpose is to support
the tobacco control lobby in India through a nationwide information
network. It promotes knowledge sharing, provides latest updates of news
and activities and disseminates information about the existing laws on
tobacco and the violations that take place at the central and grassroots

KALA APARAJITA

Kala Aparajita is a development initiative of VHAI that strengthens the
self-help initiatives of low-income artisan groups by promoting the
crafts produced by them. The concept emerged from VHAI’s work with
artisans in its post-disaster programmes in Orissa and Gujarat and other
grassroots-level projects across India. The website introduces visitors to
the initiative, its mission objectives, range of products available and acts
as a platform for exchange of technology, raw material and design.

The Online Resource Centre, launched in 2005, is a collaborative effort
of VHAI & Sasakawa Peace Foundation. It addresses the problems faced
by NGOs in accessing need-based online information. It facilitates
information exchange and fills the gap between NGOs, government
policy schemes and recipients. Visitors also get access to statistical
data, training manuals and publications.
