Singles, take note! We’ve heard requests to get a program going for singles in our parish.
If you are single (never married, separated, divorced, or widowed) come out for a potluck
and brainstorming session with Paul and Carol on Thursday, June 9 th at 6:00 p.m. Would
you like to meet twice a month or every week? Should we include fun, social times? How
about spiritual and/or learning evenings? How should we set up the group - age
groupings, purpose grouping, all together?
Marriage, family, or individual coaching is available free of charge for parishioners. With
most of our programming done for the year, we have more time than usual for coaching.
Your marriage doesn’t need to be suffering to benefit from meeting with us. Consider
taking Enrich Canada’s Couple Checkup (an inventory of your relationship’s strengths
and growth areas). Contact the Quists if you’re interested: 960-0135 or email

“FORMED HIGHLIGHTS”
Consider starting up a
small group study in your home this summer or in the fall.
There are several programs available through our parish
subscription Formed. First, pick a program that interests you,
perhaps one of the Lectio studies (e.g. on prayer, or on Peter,
or on the Eucharist), then ask some friends if they’d be
interested in a weekly or bi-weekly get together in your home.
Summer is a good time to learn the faith at home, and with
our parish subscription you can go through a program at your
own pace. Connect to www.formed.org and log into
[email protected] (password formed) (please note that
this is our temporary login – until we receive our permanent
parish code).
RCIA—Come and See!
Thursday, Sept. 7 at 7:00
p.m. in Our Lady’s Room. The RCIA Team will
be available for those folks interested in the RCIA
program either for themselves or others. This is
strictly an information meeting. The RCIA team
is also looking to have a pool of parishioners
who would be willing to sponsor a RCIA candidate. Being a
sponsor requires some qualifications and training. If you are
interested, please call Deacon Hyland Fraser at 780-242-2128.
A training session will be held in early September.
