of Yiddishkeit. The theme of ‫”בזכות‬

was discussed and then groups
researched various Rebbetzins of
Gedolei Yisroel: Rebbetzin Batsheva
Kanievsky, Rebbetzin Vichna Kaplan,
Rebbetzin Shoshana Mendlowitz,
Rebbetzin Moskowitz, Rebbetzin
Sarah Pam, Rebbetzin Sara
Schenirer, Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka
Schneerson, Rebbetzin Ruchoma
Shain, and Rebbetzin Basha
Sheinberg. The girls then presented
their findings to the school and
enjoyed a delicious lunch.

Bauman, and a choir presentation from our very
own Tiferes students.

of BAYCREST at a special assembly this
month. The women spoke about how to
become a volunteer at Baycrest.

SECONDARY SCHOOL LITERACY TEST this month.
Successful completion of the OSSLT is one of 32
requirements for graduating with the Ontario
Secondary School Diploma.

CHESED HEADS, Talia Klein & Chavi Wagowsky, continue to network with city organizations to find
chesed opportunities for our students and to provide help wherever it is needed in our community. If

SHINING STARS CO-ORDINATORS , Nechama Kaiser and Dafna Somogyi, continue to work with Chai
Lifeline in the Shining Stars Respite Program for siblings of children with special needs. Our students also
work with AIM to provide an after school program for children with special needs every Wednesday.
Headed by Miriam Hytman and Avigayil Skosowski, this year’s MISHEMERES program continues to be a
daily reminder of the importance of ‫שמירת הלשון‬. The ‫ מחסום לפי‬is observed daily at 11:00 am, as a ‫שלמה‬
‫מחסום‬.
‫ רפואה‬or as an ‫ עליה‬for a ‫נשמה‬. You can contact the school office to add a name for the ‫מחסום לפי‬
