Dear GM, Masters, Instructors and students:
It is with great honor for us to be hosting 41st ITF International Instructor Course, conducted by the ITF
Technical Committee. The IIC will be in March during the days of 20th, 21st and 22nd of 2009, so please mark
your calendars. We are using the Garden School Gym at 33-16 79th St. Jackson H, NY 11372.
We hope for this event to not only increase, and actualize everyone’s knowledge in Taekwon-do, but also
give everyone the opportunity to visit and get know New York City.
The IIC will be conducted by the ITF technical committee under the direction of Master Hector Marano,
Master Pablo Trajenberg and Master Win Bos.
The IIC is open to all red belts and above and will cover from Chon-ji to Tong-IL as well the seminar will be
characterized by its new dynamic where the participation of the attendants during the different subjects
covered will be highly active, subjects include: The Do, Patterns, Sparring, Self-defense, Theory of Power,
Umpire Theory and Qualification for ITF International Instructor (4th degree and higher). This event will be
after finish the Saturday section.
The standardization and unification of the different techniques in our region is necessary. Moreover, the
international experience of the ITF technical committee will allow us to expand our ITF knowledge to a
higher level. This is an opportunity we should all take a part of.

SEMINAR INFORMATION
We have selected the Holiday Inn LaGuardia Airport hotel for lodging. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the
LaGuardia Airport and from the gym of Garden School. It provides pickup service from at to the Airport. For
reservation, please contact the Hotel directly. Also on Saturday after testing we have a banquet to share the TKD
spirit in a familiar environment at “Green Field Brazilian Churrascaria”.

Test for degree promotion: Participants wishing to test for degree promotion must:
• Send the application form through the National/Allied Association at least one (1) month before the
promotion date to the ITF Administrative HQ.
• Bring 5 wooden boards measured 30x30x2 cm (only from 1st to 6th degree).
• Pay their ITF degree certificate and grading fee in cash one hour prior to the grading.
• Test for degree promotion will be on the second day of the course after the 2nd training session.
• The result of the test will be announced after the last IIC training session.
• No spectators are allowed during the degree promotion.
• The candidate may be accompanied by his instructor.
