Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County Boys & Girls Clubs
of Central Sonoma County is offering Hope & Opportunity to children in Sonoma
County. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need
us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
From our 36 Boys & Girls Clubs in Cloverdale, Geyserville, Healdsburg, Windsor,
Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park, we serve over 6,000 young people every year,
empowering them to have academic success, choose healthy lifestyles, and
build good character and leadership. Club programs are very affordable or free
and aim to instill in youth a sense of belonging, influence, usefulness
and competence.
Actor Denzel Washington says, “Without the Boys & Girls Club, I wouldn’t be
where I am today, but more importantly, I wouldn’t be who I am today.” Every
day after-school and during the sum-mer, we open our doors in 6 Sonoma
County communities and say, Great Futures Start Here.
Sonoma Academy is a premier independent college preparatory school
(grades 9-12) that offers an important educational choice for high school
students in the North Bay. As part of the civic infrastructure of Santa Rosa,
it elevates the culture of Sonoma County and the opportunity it provides
residents. Though Sonoma Academy’s campus is within walking distance to
the homes of some of the most underserved families in the county, the reality
of an independent high school or college education is an unattainable dream
without sufficient funds to offset the costs. The founders of Sonoma Academy
designated generous gifts to create a permanent scholarship endowment to
provide access to qualified students based on their financial need, motivation,
academic achievement, leadership skills, and desire to attend a four-year
college or university. The endowment, together with funds from charitable
events such as the Schulz Celebrity Golf Classic, enables Sonoma Academy to
provide three million dollars of financial aid to nearly 60 percent of its families
this year. One hundred percent of the funds donated to Sonoma Academy by the

Sonoma County Children’s Charities are awarded directly and immediately to
these students, and have a profound impact on their lives and futures. Thanks
to a generous gift from the Lytton Rancheria tribal government to the Schulz
Celebrity Golf Classic we are excited and honored to award an additional new
scholarship this year, The Lytton Rancheria Scholarship, designated for a Native
American student. Since it opened in 2001, Sonoma Academy has graduated
over 500 alumni who have attended colleges and universities across the United
States and Europe, many of whom return to settle in Sonoma County.
PDI Surgery Center Tooth decay in children is more prevalent than asthma,
diabetes or obesity. Healthy baby teeth are essential to the overall health of
children allowing them to chew nutritious food, speak correctly, and smile without
embarrassment. The healthy life of a child starts with a healthy,
pain-free childhood.
PDI Surgery Center, located in Windsor, is the only nonprofit organization in
California providing restorative dental treatment under general anesthesia
to children suffering from severe tooth decay. Our mission is to maintain a
sustainable dentistry resource that will serve low-income children who need
safe sedation for dental treatment, as well as providing prevention education
and promoting oral health.
Children come to PDI with infections, blackened teeth that have decayed down
to the gum line, thus requiring general anesthesia to perform surgical treatment. Many of these children are in such intense pain that they develop anxiety
and cannot sit still long enough to allow a dentist look at their teeth. A typical
patient is a 3 years old with 14 to 18 cavities. Four percent of our patients are
older children with developmental disabilities.
We receive referrals from dentists, doctors, mobile dental vans and dental
clinics. Our facility has two operating rooms that provide surgeries to 12 children
each day. Since opening in 2008 PDI has treated more than 13,600 children.
That’s 13,600 kids whose futures are brighter because they won’t be sitting in
school with tooth pain so severe they are unable to concentrate. They will be
able to eat nutritious meals and no longer be embarrassed about their teeth.
They can smile with confidence as they play and grow with their peers. They will
be able to do their best in school and look forward to a successful future. That is
something for us all to smile about. Together we make kids smile!
Santa Rosa Catholic Charities Family Support Center Since
1988, Catholic Charities Family Support Center (FSC) has succeeded in creating
brighter futures for homeless children. Over 270 children each year find safety
and stability at FSC, the largest family shelter between the Golden Gate Bridge
and Portland, OR. Our nationally recognized efforts to address cycles of homelessness go far beyond warm beds and nutritious meals. Children develop social
and academic skills that will serve them long after they have left the shelter.
After school tutoring, summer camp, and parent-child bonding activities help
build bridges from poverty to success. Services are available to any child in need,
although we currently have a shelter waiting list of over 50 families.
The Charles M. Schulz Museum’s Children’s Education Program
is committed to offering free and affordable programs to low income schools
and students in support of art and environmental science education. By bringing hands-on art, cartooning, animation, and science to schools, libraries, and
community centers throughout four counties, the Schulz Museum sparks the
imagination and curiosity of over 11,000 children a year. One third of the children engaged in these programs live in under-served, low-income communities.
The children we serve gain an expanded awareness of their own artistic talents,
an increased appetite for scientific investigation and inquiry, and develop critical
thinking skills, compassion, and creativity. Thank you for your generosity at this
event, which allows us to make a difference in the lives of these children while
bringing them the laughter and joy of Peanuts.

Children’s Education Programs
at the Charles M. Schulz Museum
and Research Center
The Charles M. Schulz Museum’s children’s education program is committed to offering free and affordable programs to low income schools and students in support of art and environmental science education. By bringing
hands-on art, cartooning, animation, and science to schools, libraries, and community centers throughout four
counties, the Schulz Museum sparks the imagination and curiosity of over 11,000 children a year. One third of the
children engaged in these programs live in under-served, low-income communities. The children we serve gain an
expanded awareness of their own artistic talents, an increased appetite for scientific investigation and inquiry, and
develop critical thinking skills, compassion, and creativity. Thank you for your generosity at this event, which allows
us to make a difference in the lives of these children while bringing them the laughter and joy of Peanuts.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County is offering Hope & Opportunity to children in Sonoma County. Our
mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. From our 36 Boys & Girls Clubs in Cloverdale, Geyserville, Healdsburg, Windsor,
Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park, we serve over 6,000 young people every year, empowering them to have academic
success, choose healthy lifestyles, and build good character and leadership. Club programs are very affordable or
free and aim to instill in youth a sense of belonging, influence, usefulness and competence.
Actor Denzel Washington says, “Without the Boys & Girls Club, I wouldn’t be where I am today, but more importantly, I wouldn’t be who I am today.” Every day after-school and during the sum-mer, we open our doors in 6 Sonoma
County communities and say, Great Futures Start Here.

PDI Surgery Center
Tooth decay in children is more prevalent than asthma, diabetes or obesity. Healthy baby teeth are essential to the overall health of children allowing them
to chew nutritious food, speak correctly, and smile without embarrassment. The healthy life of a child starts with a healthy, pain-free childhood.
PDI Surgery Center, located in Windsor, is the only nonprofit organization in California providing restorative dental treatment under general anesthesia to
children suffering from severe tooth decay. Our mission is to maintain a sustainable dentistry resource that will serve low-income children who need safe
sedation for dental treatment, as well as providing prevention education and promoting oral health.
Children come to PDI with infections, blackened teeth that have decayed down to the gum line, thus requiring general anesthesia to perform surgical
treatment. Many of these children are in such intense pain that they develop anxiety and cannot sit still long enough to allow a dentist look at their teeth. A
typical patient is a 3 years old with 14 to 18 cavities. Four percent of our patients are older children with developmental disabilities.
We receive referrals from dentists, doctors, mobile dental vans and dental clinics.
They will be able to eat nutritious meals and no longer be embarrassed about their teeth.
They can smile with confidence as they play and grow with their peers. They will be able to do their best in school and look forward to a successful future.
That is something for us all to smile about. Together we make kids smile!

Santa Rosa Catholic Charities Family Support Center
Since 1988, Catholic Charities Family Support Center (FSC) has succeeded in creating brighter futures for homeless children. Over 270 children each year find safety and stability at FSC, the largest family shelter between the
Golden Gate Bridge and Portland, OR. Our nationally recognized efforts to address cycles of homelessness go far
beyond warm beds and nutritious meals. Children develop social and academic skills that will serve them long after
they have left the shelter. After school tutoring, summer camp, and parent-child bonding activities help build bridges
from poverty to success. Services are available to any child in need, although we currently have a shelter waiting
list of over 50 families.

The Auctioneer
Greg
quiroga
Tonight marks the third year that fundraising auctioneer Greg Quiroga has been
our auctioneer, and we are thrilled to have him back. Greg is one of the nation’s
premiere fundraising auctioneers, and has been conducting fundraising auctions
for non-profit organizations all across the United States for over a decade. In
addition to The Schulz Celebrity Golf Classic, he works with over 50 non-profits,
schools, foundations, arts organizations and charities, to help raise over $10
million a year.
Greg’s performances are always a fiery combination of passion, humor and
heartfelt engagement. His favorite part of any auction is that moment when
the crowd comes together to help change the world – also known as the fund a
need. He considers his job to be to “help people pay more than they should for
things they don’t need in support of The Schulz Celebrity Golf Classic” and he
always manages to make people feel good about having done so.
In 2014 Greg launched his new company, Stellar Fundraising Auctions, with
longtime business associate Ed Gold. Greg and his wife live in San Francisco with
their son, who sold his first auction lot when he was just four.
