17th Annual
Evening Overview
1. The
Dinner & Silent Auction will be held in the J. Weitzel
Room and the Keystone Ballroom of Hershey Country Club from 6:00 p.m.
until 10:00 p.m.
2. A buffet dinner, cash bar, coffee, and desserts will be provided, with
cocktails from 6:00-7:00 and dinner from 7:00-9:30. The cash bar will be
available until 9:45.
3. A bid sheet will be displayed for each Silent Auction item. The sheet will
list the starting bid and the minimum raise.
4. You may bid on an item by signing your bid number (found on your name
tag) and the amount of your bid. If you are the first to bid on an item, you
must bid at least the minimum bid. Each successive bid must exceed the
previous amount by at least the minimum raise. Bids not reaching the
minimum raise will be forfeited.
5. Live Auction items, including the coveted Class Treasures, will be on
display throughout the evening. They will be auctioned off beginning
promptly at 8:00, so once you've visited the buffet, please return to your seat
to start the fun!
3. The silent portion of the auction will close at 9:45 pm. Notice will be
given 15 minutes before the close of the auction with an announcement. The
dimming of the lights will indicate that the auction is closed and final; at that
time, please step back from the tables.
4. The last bidder or the bidder with the highest bid on the bid sheet at the
close of the Silent Auction is the winning bidder.
8. All items will remain at their tables and should be picked up by the
winning bidder after payment has been made.
9. At the close of the Silent Auction, checkout will begin at 9:45 in the
buffet room on a first-come, first-served basis. Please get in the filing line to
find out what you won! After payment has been made (we accept cash,
check, and MasterCard/Visa/Amex), you may return to the tables to show
your receipts and collect any auction items that you have won.

The Raffles
Raffle tickets for our impressive Fantastic Class Baskets, Wine Basket
and Dine Around Grab Bag will be sold at the basket locations throughout
the evening. Raffle tickets for our Fantastic Class Baskets are $1 each or 6
for $5. Raffle tickets for our Wine Basket are $10 each. Raffle tickets for
our Dine Around Grab Bag are $20 each for the chance to win over $350
worth of gift cards! The winners of all the raffles will be pulled and
announced following the close of the Silent Auction bidding at 9:45pm. The
winner does not need to be present to win.

Our mixed media project is comprised of burlap and gesso canvas painted
with acrylics and features each chickadee made up of canvas, glass stones

what it is like to have friends.

“Reaching for the Stars” One-of-a-kind Artwork
This class enjoyed reading Reaching for the Stars by Oliver Jeffers, a story
about a boy that loved stars so much that he wanted to catch one of his very
own. It is an endearing story about reaching for the stars and emerging with
a friend. Based on the theme of the story, each child worked together to
make a star out of reclaimed wood and string. It is a unique piece of art that
will look great in any room! This one-of-a-kind work of art is accompanied
by the book, Reaching for the Stars, which includes each artist’s thumb print
and signature.
B-6 Mrs. Tunnell & Mrs. Cotter’s 3’s Class
Brilliant Bulletin Board
What a special way to display your child’s many original masterpieces! The
class decorated a bulletin board with each of the children’s favorite activities
by creating fingerprint people and favorite animals that they named. The

displaying the artwork your preschooler has yet to create!

The Red Room’s custom framed “masterpiece’ is inspired by Bill Pete’s
book, 3 Hens & a Peacock, which discusses that we all have our good
qualities in life, and that in order to shine in the world, we need to be
ourselves. Our mixed media piece is a work of art on canvas, using acrylics,
fabric, buttons, bling and more! A book will accompany this canvas with
each child’s thought as to what makes them shine.

“What I like About Me” Wooden Mirror
Look in the mirror and what do you see? Everyone is different and that is
what makes us special! What I Like About Me! by Allia Zobel Nolan, is an
endearing story that teaches us this important lesson. This class painted
scraps of wood to make a unique and colorful mirror. Included with the
mirror is a book all about the artist answering, what makes them special?
This custom framed project and book is a keepsake that any child would
love to own.

“Heart and Hands” Canvas Artwork
Mrs. Sullivan’s and Mrs. Buck's Fabulous 4's show that with a big heart and

students have created this colorful canvas, and then composed a book for
you to enjoy.

“Wild about Books” Custom Bench

favorite book. Decorated with each child's handprint that has been turned

KickStart is a unique program designed to expand upon school wide
curriculum. The program provides small teacher ratios and uses hands on
learning to make your child’s day fun! The program is designed to use small
group instruction to develop early literacy skills. We are able to play games,
create art, experiment and explore engaging topics!
