What is The Flux Capacitors?
The Flux Capacitors is the official Back to the Future
’80s tribute and fandom theme band!
Flux is approved and endorsed by Bob Gale, Back
to the Future co-writer and executive producer, as
well as by musician Huey Lewis, Joe Walser, Time
Machine Restoration team leader, and more.
The Flux Capacitors are not your typical ’80s tribute
band by any stretch of the imagination! Flux offers
an absolutely breathtaking and rocking repertoire
of the most well-known and beloved ’80s songs of
all time, including 100% live performances of all
music from the Back to the Future movie.
With the band dressed in costume as Back to the
Future main characters, hilarious on-stage BTTF
theatrics and humor accompany performances.
For maximum musical authenticity, every Flux
concert is performed 100% live and never with
backing tracks!

Why The Flux Capacitors?
And why ’80s music?
In the Back to the Future trilogy, The Flux Capacitor
is the technological component that makes time
travel possible... And it is this, the heart of the
Delorean “Time Machine,” that propelled Marty
and Doc back and forth through time.
As a band, we strive to do the same, and that is to
bring our audiences back in time. We believe that
one of the only living, breathing ”time machines” is
music.
To reach the widest range of people and include
them all in a time-traveling experience, we choose
to perform music from the 1980s. Children from the
1970s and 1980s - now with families of their own -grew
up with this music. Kids of today are also familiar
with ’80s music, calling it ”classic rock” - and it is!
Therefore, our concerts are geared to resonate with
people ages 18 - 60+.
All in all, ’80s music is conducive to pleasing popculture
convention
crowds;
it
transcends
the
generations and keeps people dancing and singing
for hours.
Our goal is to bring people back in time.
This is why we are The Flux Capacitors.

In Summary...
After speaking one-on-one with many pop-culture
convention executives, the general consensus
seems to be that alternative entertainment (e.g.
live music) for con-goers is definitely something of
interest. It’s just that the execution is a hassle, or
there is some difficulty in finding ways to implement
live music into the con experience - and it’s too
much of a bother to think about- until now.
The Flux Capacitors are a business-minded band,
meaning that we understand these concerns, and
our goal is to make the integration of a live band as
effortless as possible for you. We want to help you
provide your attendees with another dimension of
excitement and fun for their con dollars.
Therefore, we have rolled up everything we do into
easy-to-swallow packages that already include the
cost of transportation, lodging, equipment, stage,
lighting, and more so that you only need to find us
the right place to set up and plug in.
We handle the rest!
And it is our guarantee that your attendees will be
talking about your con longer and word-of-mouthing
and social media-ing the whole experience far
longer than usual, and to more friends and family
than usual.
When you contract with The Flux Capacitors, you
are getting the experience, the talent, and the progear that will help raise interest in your convention,
thus increasing your brand relay, and providing your
customers with a more complete and immersive
environment.
We will be happy to discuss your ideas with
you so feel free to contact us at any time.
We’ll see you in the future!
