Established in 1978, we are currently the largest electrical contractor in Bury and one of the leading contractors in the North West. Under the directive of it’s principals, the company has risen to it’s current stature and we directly employ ten staff and approximately fifty operatives including ten apprentices. Over 60% of the management and operatives have been with the company for over ten years. The main business activity is to provide electrical engineering and contracting services (and more recently Mechanical Services) to the commercial and industrial markets, these include: Since April 2008, we have focused on a variety of changes and would like to raise your awareness to the services that we provide. Although North West based, Performance Electrical is by no means local. The company’s depth of field is called upon Nationally and provides an invaluable service to the Industry. We have carried out mechanical contracts internally, but we have also sub‐contracted major projects to suit our client’s needs. In house we employ a mechanical engineer as a contracts manager who is qualified with a building services degree. We undertake a whole range of electrical associated installations in values ranging from £100 ‐ £2million. In many cases included the following installations; Distribution, Lighting, Small Power, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Earthing, Periodic Inspections, Testing & Commissioning, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Access, External Lighting, Public Address, Class Change, Class Registration Systems, Air Conditioning, Ventilation. Annual Turnover Sustainability Policy This policy sets out the framework for the implementation of sustainability across the company. This framework, and associated strategy, is based around three main areas; Profitable Markets, Healthy Communities and Environmental Limits. In addition, they will determine associated objectives and the PEL Sustainability implementation plan and will ensure that regular review is undertaken. The Sustainability Management Team is responsible for driving the implementation and monitoring of the PEL sustainability strategy and closing the loop by feeding progress back to the Management Team. It is a two storey building with 64 en-suite bedrooms. The project incorporated a separate building with the main supply and a standby generator with an automatic change over panel. The heating was an under floor piped system with manifolds dotted around the building controlled via thermostats in all bedrooms, corridor areas and lounges. The works consisted Lighting & Power, Emergency Lighting, L1 Fire Alarm System, Nurse Call, TV and Satellite, Mechanical Control Wiring and wiring to Arjo Baths.
