70th ANNUAL CONVENTION
July 1-3, 2014
Bring your family, & stay for a spectacular 4th of July Celebration!
Here is a brief outline of the events on Friday the 4th:
11:00am—Hero’s Parade: A real home-grown 4th of July Parade, including a fly-by of the A-10
Thunderbolts of the National Air Guard. The parade is held on Sherman Avenue—right in front of
the Resort.
All Day in Coeur d’Alene Park (right next to the Resort): Activities in the park start early in the
morning, and go until late in the evening! Including live music, food vendors (lots of BBQ), old
west & other costumes, games, and just lots of fun. Activities are not limited to the park—the
entire city is full of activities, and, of course, lots of shopping...with emphasis on antiques.
Dusk—Fireworks over he Lake: The largest fireworks display in North Idaho is right over the
lake in front of the resort. If you have a waterfront room, you will have a wonderful view. There
are plenty of viewing positions at the Resort & in town...or take a boat out on the lake for an
amazing evening (advance reservations are needed). The fireworks last about 20-minutes.
