The Cooperative Extension Service is conducting a series of
Farm Income Tax Workshops for professional people who assist
farmers in preparing income tax returns. The session for this
area will be held in the Bangor Room of the Memorial Union
Building at the University iI' Orono from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. on
Wednesday, December 16. Reservations should be made in ad­
vance by calling 866- 7476.

126 quarts of milk, 8.3 pounds of cream, 6.7 pounds of butter,
9.4 pounds of cheese, 20.6 quarts of ice cream, 9.3 pounds of
evaporated milk, 5.6 pounds of nonfat dry milk, and 4.5 pounds
of cottage cheese per person in 1963.

The Town voted to authorize the proper officers to proceed with

;C hool Administration District. An assurance was made that all
)f the towns in the Districtarewelcome to participate. In addition
m appeal was made to interested parents and tax payers to go to
\.ugusta to atttlnd the session.
It was a pleasure to note the interest taken in the town meeting
lY so many of Milo's young citizens.
It is understandable why Milo takes so m uch inte rest in the
_uestion of schools. Upon these young shoulders re st the future
)f Milo, and the fact that they know it, and are eager to learn
