About Medard’s House Project
Medard Kowalski was a student at Cedar Cliff High
School. On December 1, 2014 he went missing and later
it was found that he tragically died while hunting on the
Susquehanna River. Medard’s disappearance and death
solidified a need in our community for our children to
have access to caring adults. A small group of adults in the
community had already been meeting and praying about
a “public home” project as a way to care for our teens. In
honor of Medard, this project is now called Medard’s House.
The Medard’s House project is a faith-based endeavor. It
will be an actual house where teens from the community
can go to have healthy interactions with other teens and
caring adults. There will be a variety of activities to foster
conversation and build relationships. We are currently
raising funds to purchase a home that will be for teen-agers
in the West Shore School District.

The Red Land All Sports Booster Association (RLASBA) is
a non-profit organization with the primary purpose of
promoting greater interest in the Red Land High School
athletic program and to support and honor the athletes
and coaches at Red Land. The Association is comprised of
parents that work on behalf of the 19 sports teams at Red
Land High School. A few of the activities undertaken by
this organization include raising funds to assist the coaches
with their bi-annual “Wish List” items that cannot be met
by the school district’s budget; sponsoring the bi-annual
Hall of Fame Awards; and sponsoring an annual Scholar
Athlete Award for one male and one female student athlete;
and The RLASBA also encourages the student athletes to
participate in supporting the community in which the
students live.

5K Color Run/Walk Red Land All Sports/NCFCU Waiver and Release
I agree that if I participate in this physical activity, program or event (the “Event”) or use an Event facility or Event premises,
I do so at my own risk. I agree that I am voluntarily participating in the Event and use Event facilities or premises and assume
all risk of injury, illness, damage or loss to me or my property that might result, including without limitation any loss or theft
of personal property. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the
Event. I agree that on behalf of myself (and my personal representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, agents and assigns)
to release and discharge all Event sponsors, any and all municipal agencies whose property and/or personnel are used, and any
other companies or individuals related to the Event, from any and all claims or causes of action (known or unknown) arising
out of their negligence.
I grant permission to all the forgoing to use any photographs, video, recordings, verbal or written statements or any other
record of this event for any legitimate purpose without limitation or further compensation.
I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Waiver and Release and full understand that it is a release of liability. By my
signature below, I am waiving any right that I have to bring legal action to assert a claim against the Event, the Red Land All
Sports Booster Association, Red Land High School, New Cumberland Federal Credit Union and all Event sponsors for their
negligence.
