FUNCTION SPACES
THE WAKEFIELD ROOM
Located on the first floor and accessed by a grand staircase immediately
inside the main entrance. The largest of our function rooms is a fully self
contained facility with its own bar area, toilets and kitchen. Situated
away from the daily local traffic flow, the Wakefield room offers privacy
and quietness for working sessions, with excellent acoustics.
THE TORRENS ROOM
Located on the ground floor, adjacent the pool and The Fox. As a
conference venue this is a light, airy room catering for medium sized
groups. The Torrens Room is also perfect for smaller private lunches and
dinners.
THE BOARD ROOM
Located on the ground floor in a quiet area of the property. As its name
suggests, this is a more intimate venue - ideal for smaller groups. It has ease
of access to the pool area for tea breaks etc if desired (subject of course to
weather conditions and numbers)
THE FOX
The Adelaide Inn's elegant dining venue, with a beautiful glass-roofed
conservatory marbled area. Seating capacity of 100, with private use
possible, dependent on availability. The adjacent cocktail lounge compliments
the ambiance of this room. The Fox is a beautiful space for lunches, dinner
and breakfast events. Conference lunches are also served in this space with
a lovely outlook over our pool and courtyard. The perfect space for
pre-dinner drinks.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Confirmation and Deposit
1.1 Confirmation in writing and a deposit based on the number of guest is required within 14 days of making the reservation. If
extra time is needed please contact the Function Sales Coordinator.
1.2 Management reserves the right to cancel any reservation that has not been confirmed within 14 days of being reserved.
1.3 The guaranteed minimum number of guests or delegates are stipulated within a contract. The final minimum number of
guests attending the function is required 14 working days prior to the function. Regardless of if numbers drop below this figure,
you will still be invoiced for the number of guests stipulated within the signed contract.
2. Cancellation
2.1 All cancellations must be in writing, and deposits are refundable up to 3 months prior to the function date.
2.2 After the aforementioned time frame, or in the case of non-arrival, cancellations shall forfeit all monies paid, and the
Adelaide Inn reserves the right to charge for numbers confirmed.
3. Damages
3.1 The Adelaide Inn will not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of merchandise left in the hotel prior to, during or
after the function.
3.2 Nothing is to be nailed, screwed or adhered in anyway to any wall, door or other part of the building unless the Adelaide
Inn Management grants prior permission.
3.3 The hirer assumes responsibility for any and all damages caused by them or any of their guests, invitees or any other
persons attending the function. It is understood by the hirer that they conduct their function in an orderly manner in full
compliance with the guidelines set down by the hotel, and within all applicable laws.
4. Price Variation
4.1 Prices may be subject to change at the Management’s discretion in order to meet cost increases. Every effort will be made
to inform the hirer prior to the commencement of the function of any changes.
5. Payment
5.1 All food costs are to be paid 5 working days prior to the function.
5.2 The client is responsible for advising final numbers and should they not be advised, the client may be charged for the
numbers estimated.
5.3 Beverage Packages must be prepaid at the time food is, and Consumption Accounts settled at the conclusion of the
function.
5.4 Payment can be made in form of business cheque, credit card or cash.
5.5 Personal cheques will only be accepted by prior arrangement.
6. Menu Selection
6.1 Menu Selections must be made 2 weeks prior to your function.
7. Timing
7.1 Start and finish time must be estimated at the time of booking, and confirmed at the time of menu selection, being 2 weeks
prior to the function date.
7.2 A labour surcharge of $250.00 per hour or part thereof will be applicable for each additional hour after the confirmed
ending time. Functions must be finished by midnight, as that is the time Comfort Inn Haven Marina’s license concludes.
Adelaide Inn reserve the right to call last drinks at 11:45PM as to abide by licensing regulations.
8. Entertainment
8.1 The Adelaide Inn reserves the right to approve all musicians, bands, DJs and all other forms of entertainment prior to the
function.
8.2 CDs are permitted in all upstairs function areas, and the stereo is to be operated by Adelaide Inn staff.
8.3 Management reserves the right to control volume levels of entertainment at all times as we also operate as a motel and
must respect our other guests on the property.
9. Deliveries
9.1 All Deliveries (i.e. cakes, bombineres, flowers, wine etc) are to be made on the day after 10.00am for afternoon functions
and after 4:30pm for evening functions.

9.2 Times can be altered with previous arrangement with Management.
9.3 The Adelaide Inn accepts no responsibility for goods left on the premises
