Team Canada Deaf Hockey prepares to take on the World during the 2015 Deaflympics!
Coming off of a silver medal performance at the 2013 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships in Vantaa,
Finland - Team Canada is eager to compete, and hoping to find their way to the top of the podium!
The Team has been training hard in preparation for the event, and under the leadership and direction of
the dedicated coaching staff, we are expecting a great tournament from our Team.

Team Canada overcomes adversity…
Members of Team Canada were shocked to learn of the tragic car accident involving teammates Cody and Jesse
McIntyre. Jesse has recovered from minor injuries and will be joining the team on the ice in Russia. Unfortunately
Cody is still recovering, and our thoughts will be with him as we wish him the best of luck in his recovery!

Snowboard Camp – March 21-23, Markdale, ON and Collington ON
Hockey Camp – March 20-23, Kitchener, ON
Curling Camp – March 21-23, Mississauga, ON
Send off Party – March 24, Deaf Culture Centre, Toronto – 1:00 – 3:00 pm
CURLING
Team Canada Men’s Curling is coming off winning the Gold medal in
Bern, Switzerland at the 2013 World Deaf Curling Championships.
Team Canada Women’s Curling has won the Silver medal in Bern,
Switzerland at the 2013 World Deaf Curling Championships
Both teams representing Canada are from Manitoba having earned the
position as Team Canada by winning 2014 National Deaf Curling Trials!
Team Canada is mourning the loss of Teammate and friend Clifford
Beaulieu. Who passed away on February 5th, 2015.
During the Deaflympics, Team Canada Curling will wear a
commemorative name bar, in memory of Cliff.
Team Canada would like to thank everyone for their support during this
difficult time.
Both our men’s and women’s teams have been working
hard through their provincial curling season in
Manitoba, and we are expecting great things for them at
the Deaflympics.
