THE CARIBBEAN'S MOST INSPIRED SETTING
Belmond La Samanna is a unique luxury resort and boutique hotel situated on the beach of Baie Longue
on the French side of St. Martin. 83 guest rooms, divided into 56 Suites and 27 Deluxe Ocean View rooms,
located on the beach or on a small cliff above the beach. Nearly every accommodation boasts a desirable
ocean view, a defining difference from other Caribbean resorts.
Lush tropical garden pathways and beautiful archways surround the Mediterranean-style architecture.
A highlight of each guest room is a walk-out patio or covered terrace overlooking the beach and sea;
each set with lounge chairs and a table so your guests can maximize their time outdoors.

The 37-square-mile island of St. Martin is one island with two
destinations: the 21-square-mile northern half where Belmond La
Samanna is located is French, and the 16-square-mile southern half

BELMOND LA SAMANNA
Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM; www.pjiae.com) is
the second largest airport in the Northeast Caribbean. There is
direct service from Paris, Amsterdam, Toronto, New York, Chicago,
Washington D.C., Atlanta, Boston, Miami, San Juan, Charlotte,
Philadelphia and Newark. Once on the island, it is a very convenient
10-minute transfer from the airport to the resort and only 15
minutes to Marigot, the capital of French St. Martin.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
Upon arrival in Princess Julianna International Airport, your group
will be greeted at the arrival terminal by a Belmond La Samanna
representative and escorted to their vehicle. Depending on the size
of your group and the service requested, transfers can be arranged
by luxury sedans, SUVs, elegant vans or coaches. You can also take
advantage of our VIP Fast Track service, available upon request. Your
VIPs will be greeted at the jet bridge by an airport representative and
taken through customs and luggage areas, avoiding lines.
Roundtrip airport transfers start at $59 and include a 4% sales tax
per guest. A luggage van is required for 12 or more people. Rates
start at $125 and include a 4% sales tax per guest one way.

Belmond La Samanna has a total of 83 rooms and four villas, including 56 Suites and 27 Deluxe Ocean
View rooms, nearly all boasting sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea.
Deluxe Ocean View Room (27) 400 - 420sq.ft. (37sq.mt.)
Includes a king-size bed or twin beds and a private balcony or terrace. Can connect to a One-Bedroom
Beachfront Suite, One-Bedroom Ocean View Suite, Orleans Suite or Baie Longue Suite. Accommodates a
maximum of two people.
One-Bedroom Ocean View Suite (18) 800sq.ft. (74sq.mt.)
These suites offer beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. Features include wet-rooms with rain
showerheads, separate bathtubs, elegant marble floors, kitchens and patio areas. Accommodates a
maximum of three people.
One-Bedroom Plunge Pool, Beachfront and Terrace Suites (24) 800 - 820sq.ft. (74sq.mt.)
One-Bedroom Suites offer stunning ocean views and a king-size bed. Suites have a separate living room,
oversized bathrooms with dual vanities, separate shower and bathtub, white and sand-colored marble
floors and signature open wardrobes. Accommodates a maximum of three people.
Two-Bedroom Suites (8) 1,000 - 1,940sq.ft. (92sq.mt.)
Our Two-Bedroom Suites feature elegant master bedrooms designed in a tropical or French Provençal
style. Generous bathrooms have modern dual vanities and deep-soaking bathtubs and are finished with
mahogany accents. Accommodates a maximum of five people.
Specialty Suites (6) 870 - 1,680sq.ft. (80sq.mt.)
Each Suite has its own style and personality. They feature a luxurious bedroom and a private terrace from
which to enjoy views of the Baie Longue.
The Villas (4) 4,600sq.ft. (1,402sq.mt.)
Private and exclusive, The Villas are the perfect getaway. Our two three- and four-bedroom Villas are
palatial yet comfortable. Master bedrooms have generous private terraces overlooking the Caribbean Sea,
and the fully equipped kitchens are perfectly suited for entertaining. Large bathrooms feature both a rain
shower and spacious tub. Wrapped around the front of each Villa is an oversized terrace, including a zeroedge pool – the perfect vantage point from which to enjoy the spectacular sea views. Architectural details
include floor-to-ceiling windows, graceful archways, teak accents and Italian marble. Butler service is also
available. Villas accommodate a maximum of 9 guests.

TRELLIS
Trellis offers the ultimate in-island fine dining and is ideal
for a plated dinner for your group. They’ll enjoy beautifully
crafted, traditional French cuisine in an elegant bistro
setting overlooking Baie Longue. Indulgences include a
bottle of Grand Cru from the acclaimed cellar, which boasts
one of the most extensive collections in the Caribbean.

CLIFFSIDE VILLAS GREEN
The Villas gardens feature 270-degree, awe-inspiring views of Baie Longue and the Caribbean Sea. Gardens can

arranged around one of the infinity pools for an unforgettable evening.

LA SAMANNA SPA
La Samanna offers the only true European spa in the Caribbean,
as all therapists are European-trained professionals. Features
include five indoor/outdoor massage rooms, a serene rock
garden, outdoor private showers and a waterfall.
TENNIS
Guests may use three championship tennis courts,
all lit for nighttime play. Peter Burwash International (PBI),
the world’s premier tennis management company,
manages the tennis operations.
FULL-SERVICE WATER SPORTS CENTER
Enjoy the convenience of our newly renovated activities center
with easy access to water skiing, jet skis, wave runners, wake
boarding, sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling and deep
sea fishing.
FITNESS CENTER
Equipped with aerobic and weight training equipment, The
Fitness Center also offers personal training sessions and a Pilates
studio with private and group lessons. Open seven days a week.
BEACH CABANAS
Private beach cabanas with exclusive beach butler service are
available for daily rental. Each features complementary skin
care products, cozy built-in lounge benches, flat screen TVs on
request, private beach chairs and umbrellas, loaded iPods, bottled
water, beach towels, personal wait staff and champagne. Seasonal
rates apply.
TASTINGS AND CLASSES
Additionally, we offer private wine and rum tastings at our
exclusive cellar, La Cave, cooking classes and art lessons with
resident artists.
OFF-SITE ACTIVITIES
The island of St. Martin offers a whole host of activities, all within a short drive of Belmond La Samanna. Our

Currency On The Island
Prices are listed in Euro and US Dollars and both are widely accepted. The official currency on the
Dutch side of the island is Antillean Guilder, but Euro and Dollars are accepted.
Room Delivery Service Charge
An additional service charge of $7.50 per guest will be applied to any food and beverage delivery.
Any room drops (such as gifts done via the Bell Stand) costs $4.00 per room.

Signs and registration tables in public areas, such as the lobby, are to be approved by our special
events team. Signs in the vicinity of the function spaces are to be professionally printed. The
posting of any items (posters, signs, etc.) on any function room walls or doors is strictly prohibited.
Arrangements can be made to provide easels for your signage.
