The motto on the Belize flag means, “Under the shade, I
flourish” This trip came about due to one of our students
taking a heavy interest in the movie 2012. After learning
about the Mayans in school they wanted to take a trip
and so 30 Elephants Ltd. answered the call and
created a trip not only around the beautiful scenery in
Belize but the rich history of the lands.

Just to name a few
Each trip is semi customized to fit the group of
students we are taking on that particular trip, making
every trip different. Below are a few of the must see
places.
Cave Tubing
For our mini thrill seekers we take guided inner
tube tours through some of dark recesses of the
world. After a thirty-minute hike through the
Belize rain forest we go for a 45-minute ride
through the Sibun River caves.
Caracol Ruin
Caracol, a Classic Period complex, covers 30square miles of thick, high-canopy jungle, and
includes five plazas, an astronomic observatory
and over 35,000 buildings, which have been
identified.
Tikal
These ancient Mayan Temples are actually
located in Guatemala but well worth the trek. It
is an all day trip reserved for students particularly
interested in archeology.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding anywhere is a blast but there is
something about doing it in a tropical jungle
changes everything. The beauty of travel
sometimes is seeing the same things through
different eyes!
