STANDARD SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
Foreword
The Modena Cento Ore Classic 2015 race consists in an invitation-only event, included in the 2015 ACI
CSAI National Calendar, with Average Speed Trials (AST) held on roads temporarily closed to the regular
traffic, and Timed Trials (TT) held in circuits.
These regulations interpret the exceptional and international nature of the event.

ART. 1 - ORGANISATION
These Standard Supplementary Regulations have been drawn up in compliance with the International
Sporting Code (and its attachments as applicable), the National Sporting Regulations (and its Supplementary
Rules, as applicable), and the other ACI SPORT provisions which will be binding for all other cases not
considered in the following articles.
The Organiser declares that the event is provided with the required administrative authorisations and
insurance covers.

ART. 4 – RACE

a Classic Cars Sport Regularity rally named : MODENA CENTO ORE CLASSIC
The zone where the event will be held is 3
The event will take place over No. 4 days.

ART. 5 – VEHICLES
Only cars built from 1919 to 1985 will be eligible to participate, up to a maximum of 45
vehicles.
Any decisions made by the Organising Committee regarding which cars will be admitted will be
final.
The Organiser reserves the right to accept or reject application requests without stating any
reasons. The organiser also reserves the right to accept more crews for promotional ends,
notwithstanding the maximum number allowed.
It is not allowed to replace the car after the admission has been confirmed, except for specific
cases approved by the Organising Committee.
The Organising Committee reserves the right to accept crew and/or car changes in any
moment, even during the Administrative Checks and until the closure of those same checks.
Both racing and production cars are allowed, with either a closed or convertible car body, in
their original state.
The vehicles must possess one of the following documents guaranteeing their historicity: Csai
Fiche, Asi Fiche, Fia HTP, Fiva Fiche, Avvs, Manufacturer Registers, self-certification of
compliance for foreign vehicles.
The admitted vehicles will be divided into the following groups:
1st Group: cars manufactured until 1946
2nd Group: cars manufactured from 1947 to 1965
3rd Group: cars manufactured from 1966 to 1985
Art. 5.1 – Choice of the average speed
Each Average Speed Trial may be ran at either a “high” (approximately between 45 and 49
kph) or “low” (approximately 10% slower) average speed.
The competitors must choose which one to adopt before 10/05/2015. In case they do not, the
“low” speed will be assigned as a matter of course.
Art. 5.2 – Tyres
The vehicles must use only road tyres with the “E” or “DOT” markings, as per the Art. 8.4 of the
K Attachment of the International Sporting Code.
If the competitors do not possess any of the above mentioned tyres of appropriate size, they
may be allowed to use “racing” tyres of the period of the car, providing that they ask for
authorization from the organiser at least a week before the start of the pre-rally scrutineering.
The organiser reserves the right to accept or refuse the requests.

ART. 5.3 – Racing Numbers, Orders and Starting Intervals
The racing numbers, valid for the compilation of the starting orders, will be assigned by the
Organising Committee at its sole discretion, taking into account the chosen average speed (as
per Art. 5.1), the age of the car and the organisational and promotional requirements of the
event.
The start will be given to two cars each minute.
The Clerk of the Course will compile the Starting Order taking into account the racing numbers
in ascending order, except for any changes due to the substitution of a vehicle. The Organiser
reserves the right to impose restrictions to the drawing up of the Starting Order for
organisational reasons, or to promote the event and its sponsors.
The racing numbers must be applied onto the car as per the instructions given together with
them, before the Technical Scrutineerings, and must remain visible during the whole duration
of the race, under penalty of sanctions inflicted upon notification by the Clerk of the Course.
Art. 5.4 – Safety Provisions
During the Average Speed Trials and the Timed Trials, the competitors must use a helmet with
a currently valid FIA homologation, or a homologation compliant with the D.M. 18/03/86 and
the ECE regulations ECE 022/02, 022/03 and 022/04 (used with motorcycles).
Using the safety belts (if the vehicle is equipped with them) is mandatory along the whole
route of the race, as is having a handheld fire extinguisher onboard.
The safety gear, consisting in coveralls, socks, shoes, hoods and gloves only for the first driver,
is mandatory for the crews of the racing cars, and recommended for the production cars. Said
clothing can be:
- clothing compliant with the provisions of the L Attachment of the International Sporting Code
- clothing not currently homologated
- vintage original safety gear
ART. 6 – ROUTE
The route of the event will be 739,32 km in length and will be described in the Itinerary attached to these
supplementary regulations, of which it is an integral part, and in the Road Book. The Itinerary will also
describe how the Timed Trials will take place.
There will be No.13 Average Speed Trials, No. 12 Timed Trials, No. 27 Time Controls.
The rally will start from AUTODROMO VALLELUNGA at 10.50 on 03/06/2015 and will finish in
AUTODROMO DI IMOLA at 16.35 on 06/06/2015.
The rally will take place on roads both closed and open to the traffic, at average speeds of no more than 50
kph. In the last km of the average speed trials there will be no secret measurements.
The “Passo del Giogo 2” (PM10) and “Cornacchiaia 2” (PM11) Average Speed Trials are
optional.
The competitors may choose whether to participate in them or not before their time of passage
at the Time Control 19 in Poggio dei Medici, informing the Competitors relations Officer on the
spot of their choice.
The competitors who will not participate in the trials will conclude the Leg at the TC 19.
For the competitors who will participate in the trials, only the best result of the two “Passo del
Giogo” trials and the best result of the two “Cornacchia” trials will be taken into account for
the classification.
If the competitors will fail to inform the officers of their decision, they will be considered as
participating in the trials.

ART. 7 - APPLICATIONS

along with the entry fee as per the National Sporting Regulations and its Sector Specific Regulations for
non-championship events, except for the optional forfeiture of the services that will be indicated in the said
form; the applications will open and close on the dates and times indicated in the programme.
ART. 8 – GENERAL OBLIGATIONS
Procedures for the pre-rally checks, distribution of the racing numbers:
The administrative checks (racing number distribution) will follow the entry list.
To make the distribution of the racing numbers easier, the following documents will be needed:
- sporting licences
- document of identity
- driving licence
- medical certificate of fitness (Italian competitors only)
- documents of the vehicle (as per Art. 5)
Any competitors who will not present the above mentioned documents will not be admitted to the event.
After the administrative checks, the participants will receive all the documents required to go through the
technical scrutineering, including any bulletins and/or other instructions issued by the Race Direction, the
racing numbers and the identifying badges.
ART. 9 - REARRANGEMENTS
There will be no rearrangements.
ART. 10 – TIME LIMIT
A crew will be considered over the time limit:
- if it passes through a Time Control with a delay of over 15 minutes;
- if it accumulates a total amount of over 30 minutes of delay per Leg at more than one control.
ART. 11 – ARRIVAL

ART. 12 – CLASSIFICATIONS
The following classifications will be drawn up:
a) overall;
b) special: Average Speed Trials Combined Classification, Timed Trials Combined Classification
On each Leg, the competitors will be granted the possibility to verify a maximum of one time of
the same day.
It will not be possible to file a complaint about the classifications of the Legs 1, 2 and 3 after
30 minutes from their posting.
In order to be admitted to the final classifications, it is necessary to enter the final parc fermé
in Piazza Grande, Modena before 18.30, even with the engine turned off.
The crew with the lowest amount of points of penalty will be declared the winner.
ART.12 Bis – READMISSION TO THE RALLY
Any crews arriving past the time limit or which did not pass through one or more checks (TC, TT, AST, PC)
will be automatically readmitted at the start of the next Leg with a penalty of 12.000 points.
Likewise, any competitors who did not take part in the First and/or Second and/or Third Leg can be
readmitted to the subsequent ones with a penalty of 12.000 points per Leg.
ART. 13 – AWARDS
Awards of honour will be bestowed to:
- the first 10 crews in the overall classification;
- the first crews in the special classifications.
ART. 14 - DISPOSIZIONI GENERALI
By entering the event, each competitor declares on behalf of himself, his/her drivers, co-drivers, employees
and staff:
• to acknowledge and accept the provisions of the National Sporting Code (and its Supplementary Rules)
as well as these Standard Supplementary Regulations, committing himself/herself to comply to them
and to have others comply to them;
• to commit himself/herself to solve any controversy emanating from the Organisation or the running of
the event using the methods and terms fixed by the CSAI and to renounce the right to approach any
judicial authorities other than the sporting authorities for the defence of his/her rights and interests as
well as those of his/her drivers, co-drivers, employees and staff;
• not to hold responsible the Automobile Club d’Italia, the Organiser and all its collaborators, the
Automobile Clubs involved in the event, the rally Officers as well as the owners of the roads included in
the rally route, for any damage caused to the competitor himself/herself, his/her drivers, co-drivers,
employees, staff and belongings, or for any damage caused to third parties or properties by the
competitor himself/herself, his/her drivers, co-drivers, employees and staff.
