September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and each
year Chili’s Grill & Bar hosts several “give back nights,”
With all proceeds benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Local 935 is once again
proud to partner with Chili’s in Victorville, where on Sept. 5 you can join San Bernardino
County Fire District firefighters as we host “Tip a Fireman.”
Here’s how it works: patrons at the restaurant can leave a tip above and beyond what the
normal amount would be. The proceeds of the extra gratuity go towards the charity of the
night. Local 935 firefighters, including County Fire’s newest recruits from Tower 6, will be
waiting tables, washing dishes and serving drinks to support the cause.
With each passing year, Chili’s employees and guests become more committed to St. Jude.
This campaign has become an annual tradition, uniting communities nationwide and in
Puerto Rico, making Chili’s the destination for families and friends to gather and enjoy great
food while supporting St. Jude.
In recent years, Chili’s has raised millions of dollars for St. Jude’s. Local 935 is proud to
partner with Chili’s and St. Jude’s and give back to the communities we serve.
