Important Reminder
Grounds
Elevator Access to Courtside Cafe
Bermuda Grass Research Court
Many members are unaware of the elevator that is available to
access the Courtside Cafe and the main level of the Clubhouse.
Enter the Athletic Building using the ramp entrance for the
squash facilities located in the lower parking lot just below the
main Clubhouse. The elevator is adjacent to the Pro Shop.
As summer is now upon us, the Bermuda grass research court is
open on the third tier. The Grounds Department is proactively
testing the Bermuda grass because it does not require as much
water and it is less susceptible to diseases than our current Bent
grass. After using the court, please share your thoughts by
completing the survey card in the box next to the court.

Welcome
Chantelle Piaggione
Director of Member Relations
It is my great pleasure to announce
that Chantelle Piaggione has been
promoted to Director of Member
Relations. This position was recently
made available after Michelle Weigner
pursued a wonderful opportunity to
advance her career. Chantelle has been
an invaluable member of the Merion
Team for 15 years and has assumed
various positions throughout her
tenure. Most of you know Chantelle
for her commitment to providing
exceptional service in the Club’s many
dining rooms and, more recently, for
her role within the management team
providing support in furthering our
commitment to exceptional service.
Her dedication, enthusiasm and
understanding of the Club’s culture
provide a strong foundation
for continued success.
In her new role, Chantelle will be
working with the Admissions and
Membership Committees and the
management team to develop diverse
programs and activities to engage
our membership. She will be an
integral resource in guiding members
through each phase of the Admissions
process– from proposing a candidate
through meeting with the Admissions
Committee. Additionally, Chantelle
will work closely with the Membership
Committee and management team
on many exciting opportunities
including Affinity Groups, the Summer
Membership Program, the Young
Member Group and our Social and
Athletic Programs.
Please join me in welcoming Chantelle
to her new position at Merion.
