“Working with a comprehensive design-build team that included our client, we were able to deliver a
collaborative solution that truly satisfied the needs and desires of all stakeholders.”
Patrick Sende, Integrated Builders Group, CEO
lark County Credit Union’s member base is growing, and as a result, their needs are changing. So in
the autumn of 2015, CCCU hired IBG
to evaluate and optimize their entire branch network and develop a
prototype ‘retail-centric’ branch for
a new North Las Vegas location. Using both extensive demographic research and a ‘boots on the ground’
validation process, IBG identified:

A new retail space for the
North Las Vegas location: The Decatur branch.
This NLV location provided Clark
County Credit Union with an opportunity to connect with an expanding population base in the region,
while operating within a smaller,
more cost-effective physical footprint than their existing branches.
case of CCCU’s Decatur branch,
IBG developed a state-of-the-art
location that now provides an array of member services with less
space and no clutter. Says Patrick

An indispensable aspect of IBG’s
years of experience as an industry leader is its nimbleness. It can
turn on a dime. Despite numerous
developer-generated and regulatory hurdles between date-of-hire

efficiently created a warm, amiable, 24-hour credit union location.
Knowing that an engaging member experience leads to new Credit
Union members, IBG’s design team
worked to create an experience infused with CCCU’s brand. The desert locale of the branch required
the use of heat resistant and durable materials, in eye-catching colors
and patterns that the IBG design
team repeated through the space.
“We wanted to permeate symbols
throughout [the new CCCU branch]
that represent the brand identity,” said Drew Learned, IBG COO.
In addition to attractively enhancing the brand identity, all furniture
and chairs were chosen to assure
that they are comfortable and ergonomically correct. Hardware, such
as glass door slides, were selected
for both aesthetics and functionality. Security cameras were subtlety
embedded in ceiling tiles to provide
maximum area coverage without
being intrusive to members. And
by primarily using wall components
that were modular, IBG created
a brand-inspired branch experience that is surprisingly portable!
If CCCU ever decides to move its
Decatur/North Las Vegas branch,
all of the interior elements can be
removed from the space and reused in a new environment: an
enhancement which is just one
of the many small-detail, big-impact ideas in the IBG playbook.
CCCU celebrated the opening of
their new Decatur branch in October of 2015. Having been thrilled
with the results of this effort, the
credit union has elected to extend its mutually beneficial relationship with IBG by awarding IBG
the assignment of building their
new headquarters. This represents
just another in a long list of IBG
partnerships with credit unions
that create member experiences
on the forefront of the industry.
Modular glass walls provide openness
and privacy, and can be re-used in any
new lease space.
