Nancy Lin, KoTai Realty
Nancy Lin is a real estate broker and Vice President of KoTai Realty and has been a
long time member with WSGVAR.
In 2007 she was the President of WSGVAR, in 2008 she received the "Asian Pacific
Islander Leadership Award" from 49th District Assemblyman Mike Eng, in 2011 she
was President of the Chinese American Real Estate Professional Association
(CAREPA) in Southern California, in 2012 she was Chair of the WSGVAR Global Business Council
Committee and she organized a Trade Mission to Taiwan, and in 2013 she received the "WSGVAR
Distinguished Service Award".
Nancy currently serves as liaison from our Association to the City of Monterey Park.

Dana J. McCants, Los Angeles County Sheriff Department
Sergeant Dana McCants has 32 years of experience with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's
Department and supervised the Department’s Real Estate and Elder Fraud Detective teams.
His expertise on the subject of fraud comes from his service as an investigator and a
Detective Sergeant assigned to the Department's Fraud and Cyber Crimes Bureau. Sergeant
McCants is also a POST Master Instructor and has assisted with the course curriculum development of
several POST ICI classes, regarding identity theft, real estate fraud and financial elder fraud. He has
taught many of these courses since their inception to law enforcement personnel in both California and
Hawaii. Sergeant McCants speaks regularly on behalf of his department, POST and Keep Safe, law
enforcement personnel, merchants, civic groups and the media, regarding identity theft, forgery-fraud, real
estate fraud and elder fraud.

Laura Tellez-Gagliano, Superintendent of Alhambra Unified School District
Laura Tellez-Gagliano, Ed.D. was appointed by the Board of Education in July 2012. Dr.
Tellez-Gagliano began her educational career as a classroom teacher in Los Angeles Unified
School District (LAUSD). After serving nine years with LAUSD, Dr. Tellez-Gagliano worked
for the Garvey School District for seventeen years in the capacities of Resource Teacher,
Assistant Principal/Intermediate School, Principal of two elementary schools, Director of
Curriculum and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. In 2003, Dr. Tellez-Gagliano
joined the Alhambra Unified School District as Assistant Superintendent of Human
Resources.
Dr. Tellez-Gagliano received her Bachelor’s Degree and teaching credential from Loyola Marymount
University. She received a California Administrative Services credential from California State University Los
Angeles. In 2007, she received her doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of La
Verne.
