IMPORTANT!
Working around electricity requires proper skills and knowledge – and should not be
performedbysomeonewhoisnotfamiliarortrainedinthistrade.Therefore,weHIGHLY
recommend that you solicit the services of a licensed and qualified
“Electrician/Plumber”familiarwithtanklesswaterheaterinstallation.
All electrical work and setting the unit to the wall should be completed before any
electricalwiringconnections.
IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE INJURY OR EVEN DEATH.
I) WALLFIXING
Any residue or dirt in the pipes may cause internal damage to the unit. We
recommend installing a sediment filter before the entry of water to the heater.
Hard water or water with high levels of minerals and alkali can cause damage to
this unit. When this is the case, we recommend the use of a (non-salt) water
softening system.
III) ELECTRICITY
- Install a fuse box or switch (“breaker") for exclusive use of the heater. Based
on the power of the model obtained using the cable for your unit according to
the power and model purchased. Find a detailed guide to the power and cable
type used in the table below. Connect the ground, as indicated in the Electrical
Code.

- Turn off the power or running water.
- Mark the position of the points of the 3 screws. Note that we recommend leaving 6
inches clearance (free) around the heater, thereby facilitating the proper installation
and maintenance.
- The heater must beinstalled vertically and secured with 3 screws using the“drill
hole template” included with this heater.
- Set the heater at the points where the screws should go, use the adapters and
screws provided.(viewphotos)
Once installed the heater, let the water flow through the unit before turning on
electricity. When all connections are satisfactorily prepared install the heater cover.
With the insulated container off and flow modifier (optional) fully open, the faucet
must be opened fully to get maximum water flow at the exit. This is necessary to
ensure that the water tank is full before turning your energy is an essential step to
protect the resistance.
II) PLUMBING
Remember: Run the water before turning on electricity.
- Use s tainless steel flexible hose or copper tubing from ½ " t o enter and leave
the water heater. (Right side water inlet, hot water outlet, left.) When you have
water pipes reduce the manother size to ½".
NOTE: The electrical supply is not turned on until all the pipes and the installation is
complete.
- Do not use PVC, CPVC or plastic supply lines to connect the unit. A pipe 16"of
copper or stainless steel must be connected to the input and output of the
heater.
These heaters are of the closed type (closed system with no ventilation pressure)
suitable for fitting to the normal input of cold water with a maximum of 150 PSI (10
bar). They must be fitted with a pressure valve adjacent to the entrance.
- Connect the isolation valve at the entry inlet pipe of the heater and make sure
you install a rubber washer. Do not apply excessive force to tighten connectors.
The heater should be installed as close as possible to the point of use, because the
distance to be run the hot water temperature affect. If a shower is used for the
heater should be installed outside the shower stall/area.
When installed in a location that could freeze the heater must be isolated and
drained.
Be sure to clean the pipes before connecting the heater to the main line, clean
all the impurities of the pipe allowing water to flow for a few minutes, check for
leaks.

- DO NOT expose the unit to freezing temperatures. Do not use an input water
temperature over 90 degrees F or 32.2 degrees Celsius.
- We recommend that you install the unit under the sink in main bathrooms or
utility areas. This will allow for lower amperage usage and a reduced heat loss
from longer pipe runs.
- DO NOT restrict the flow of water entering the unit.
- DO NOT use the unit if water ceases to flow during use. If the outer case or cover
is loose, your heater will not work correctly. An improperly secured cover can cause
injury or electric shock.
- For additional savings, reduce the water flow valve at the inlet of the heater so
the temperature increases.
- This unit is designed for indoor use only.
WARNING! THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED!
NEVER OPERATE THIS HEATER WITHOUT THE COVER!
1. The heater should only be connected to a supply 200/240VAC.
WARNING!
When you turn the unit can get extremely hot water. Take proper safety precautions
to avoid being hurt or be burned by water.
- Ensure that all electrical connections are adequately protected to prevent shock,
overheating and damage.
- The fuse does not give personal protection against electric shock. Improving
electrical safety: A single ground fault breaker (GFCI), 30-50 Amp (depending on
configuration and requirements) or a residual current device (RCD) must be
installed on this circuit.
- This unit requires a single circuit. Other electrical equipment such as fans, pumps,
etc. must be on separate circuits.
- Turn off the power switch manually or when unused for extended periods of time.
- The unit must be certified by an electrician from the time they installed for an
additional year.
NOTE: Improper use or installation will void the warranty.
- When possible, install the heater in the most central locations, nearest to the point
of use (where hot water is needed, e.g., shower, faucets, etc.)
- Adjust heater temperature settings (located on the front panel of the heater) to the
desired output temperature you desire. Lowering the power setting will save
energy, but will have a lower output water temperature.

2. The use of a plug and outlet is NOT RECOMMENDED for this unit.
3. The heater must be connected to its own independent electrical circuit. It must be
connected to a main circuit, SPUR, OR PLUG OUT lighting circuits.
4. Make sure that your panel The service has a rate of 30/60 ampere main switch
(the intensity depends on the configuration of the temperature used) If necessary,
contact your energy provider for general use or a licensed electrician to check the
service required.
5. The switch must be accessible and clearly identifiable, but out of reach of a
person with a fixed shower. Except for the cable that has a cable of a key switch,
and must be placed so that it is not possible to touch the switch body standing in a
bath or shower.
6. The unit circuit should be separated from other circuits, at least twice the
diameter of the cable duct.
7. It is essential that the conditions of each site are evaluated by a qualified
electrician to determine the correct cable size and permissible circuit length.

IMPORTANT!
The size of the switch and wire gauge must meet all local, state, provincial and
national electrical codes in your area - these are just guidelines that apply to most
installations. Some codes require the use of electrical substations for the
installation panel, especially when heater is not mounted within line of sight of the
main electrical panel. Wiring must be sized to maintain a voltage drop of less than
3% under load.
There are real dangers involved in improper installation of any electrical appliance.
Improper installation will void the warranty of your unit. Failure to follow proper
installation procedures there is a risk of injury or death.
Local codes "Most counties, cities and states have specific codes governing the
installation of electrical equipment. You need to know the code and permit
requirements in your community before installing your tankless water heater.

the heater.
- The speed of water passing through the heater unit, which determines the water
temperature in a given environment (for example, slowing the flow of water will
increase the temperature. A faster flow will result in a lower output temperature.)
- In cooler regions or cooler seasons of the incoming water temperature will cause
a variation in the output temperature. The temperature settings allow for
compensation of seasonal changes.
For illustrations, see the photos on the next page.
