Voler - Thieves of Flight, Kansas City's premier aerial fabrics performance troupe, is
an edgy experimental collaboration of aerial dance and acrobatics, comprised of various
performing artists from the Kansas City area. Our mission is to demonstrate the beauty of
movement that is inspired by various acrobatic, athletic, dance and performance
backgrounds. We are a fully insured professional performance group who is licensed as part
of a certified national insurance organization.
Voler performances are built to suit any venue with ceiling height of 12’ and up. We

our themed shows! We specialize in circus, burlesque, futuristic, classical and character-based
performances and we can customize themes for any event and for all audiences. Booking is

Company Members
Hayley Cherveny
Beginning her dance training as a young girl training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical dance, Hayley
furthered her dance education obtaining a bachelors degree in dance from Kansas State University. During
her college training she specialized in Modern dance, performing at many national dance festivals and was
asked to have her original choreography adjudicated at the American College Dance Festival. In 2004, Ms.
Cherveny had the opportunity to perform in the Czech Republic with the Lynn Barr Dance Theatre as a
featured modern dancer. Hayley has also been a company member of the AHA! Dance Theatre in Kansas
City and has been commissioned in guest pieces for local and national choreographers.
Leslie Davis
Leslie has trained and performed as a dancer since her youth. She attended the University of Southern
Mississippi as a dance performance and choreography major, performing in the Repertory Company and with
Complexity Productions Modern Dance Company. She has also performed as an aerialist with Quixotic
Fusion Performance Ensemble. Leslie combines her training in gymnastics, diving, and massage into her
creative flow of aerial artistry and she feels a freedom in the free flowing movement of aerial dance.
Andee Hindery
Andee Hindery is grateful to have began her dance training as a girl with her mentors Cliff Kerwin and
Paul Chambers. She went on to complete her degree in dance at the University of Kansas. Andee's been
performing in Kansas City since her days in City in Motion's Children's Dance Theatre and more recently with
A-Ha! Dance Theatre and Kacico Dance. She's very happy to have taken off with the lovely girls of Voler, and
feels quite at home in the air.
Rachel McMeachin
In a life governed by laws and bound by gravity, Rachel steals away a little piece of flight. Within the
performance group Voler - Thieves of Flight, she has found a means to create human performance celebrating
strength, fragility and the splendor of playful expression. Specializing in circus skills and performances
including bull whip, bed of nails and fire movement, Rachel is also Voler’s lead aerial instructor.
Greta Off
Ms. Off trained on scholarship at the School of the Hartford Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet School/New
School University BFA program in New York City. She performed onstage with The Village People and was a
regular performer on MTV’s Direct Effects. She also studied at STEPS on Broadway and Broadway Dance
Center. Greta has performed as a guest soloist with Madison Ballet Theatre, Etre Art, and Quixotic Fusion.
She served as Dance Captain with Jean Ann Ryan Productions onboard the Regent Seven Seas Mariner, also
performing Lyra and Spanish Web and was Ballet Director for Pulse Performing Arts Center in Kansas City.
Jade Osborne
Drawing upon her training in theater, ballet, jazz, latin, tango, modern, capoeira, contact improv, and aerial
acrobatics, Jade’ work is a combination of cultural experimentation within bodily forms, structures and
movement. Jade has trained and performed with Touch Dance, Big Bang Buffet, Kansas City Friends of Alvin
Ailey, UMKC Women’s Center, Quixotic Fusion Performance Ensemble, MarKed, City in Motion, Beribazu
Capoeira International and currently as a core performer with Voler, Thieves of Flight. She has performed in
national and international productions in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, California, Washington,
Brazil, Canada, Jamaica, China, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

Epic Entertainment, Storling Dance Theatre, The Shoji Tabuchi Show (Branson, MO). Nichole teaches
throughout the city and in the past at Missouri Western University. She has studied dance at UMKC, The
Ailey School (NY, NY), Project Bandaloop (Oakland, CA), Diavolo (Los Angeles) and other various company
workshops throughout the country. She has trained in Tap, Ballet, Point, Jazz, Modern, Floor
Tumbling/Acrobatics, Aerial Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Yoga, some Stunt Work and various Martial Arts.
