Win Lunch with Mr. Phares and an Extra Recess with Scrip
The contest is close! You can help your child’s class win lunch with Mr. Phares and

 The classroom with the highest percentage of participation

Please donate new, unwrapped toys and gifts.
Collection boxes are located in each pod as well as the main lobby. Our goal
is 400 toys. If we reach our goal, Mr. Phares and Mr. Valentine will be
coming to school on the 18th in Star Wars costumes/pajamas!
The Towne Meadow Student Activity Council thanks you for supporting this
wonderful cause which benefits the kids here in Hamilton County!

Make a Difference Food Drive Record – Thank You!
The 4/5 Challenge classes would like to THANK everyone for their generous donations to
our Fall Make a Difference Food Drive. Because of your generosity, we donated 6,188
lbs. of food to the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank. That is a record breaking
amount for Towne Meadow! Our top two classes that won the extra recess are Mrs.
Hopkins’ class with 546 cans and Mrs. Keller’s class with 457 cans. Mrs. Kuhn’s class also
donated a record 846 cans and Mrs. McKay’s class donated 1,460 cans. WOW! Thanks
for helping us Make a Difference!

Congratulations to the TME Spell
Bowl Team on their terrific 2nd
place finish in district, and 4th place
in state. We are proud of you!
Attention 4th & 5th Grade Math Lovers – Math Bowl Tryouts, Dec. 15th
We are looking for 14-16 fourth and fifth grade math enthusiasts who want
to compete in this year’s 2016 Math Bowl competition. Tryouts are Tuesday,

Creekside Cultural Fair – Looking for Families to Participate
Creekside Middle School would like to invite our elementary families to
join us for the biennial Cultural Fair on Friday, February 5th from 68:00pm in the Creekside cafeteria. This event provides an opportunity
to learn about and celebrate the numerous cultures and ethnicities
represented in our school district and throughout the community. It
will include interactive displays highlighting the art and culture of
different areas of the world. There will also be cultural food to sample, an international
talent show, a scavenger hunt, and games from around the world.
We are currently looking for families who would like to do a booth at the fair
representing a country or culture, enter an act in the talent show, or volunteer to help
