Beyond its origins
The new Monster 821 is unmistakably
Monster. Bold and proud of its naked design.
Fast, agile and reassuringly balanced.
Minimal, muscular and technologically
advanced. Everything is tuned to your
desire, a desire to break out and express
yourself, a desire for ultimate riding pleasure
and iconic style. More Monster than ever,
the Monster 821 goes beyond its origins.
Headlong into the future, yet it also belongs
to a passionate past.
3
Dressed to seduce
Dressed in its essentials, the Monster 821
speaks the language of minimal, Italian
design. The compact, naked styling is just
enough to harness the power within and
when you ride away, you know it’s just you
and your Monster, nothing else.
The steel fuel tank dominates the tubular
geometry of the trellis frame and the headlamp
confidently enhances the outspoken design.
Perched high at the rear, the number plate
support adds a dynamic touch to the muscular
profile. Get ready to personalise your Monster
with exclusive Ducati components and eyecatching accessories.

Powered to thrill
Powered by an 821cc twin-cylinder
Testastretta 11° engine with 4 valves/
cylinder, the Monster 821 delivers
an impressive 112hp (82,4 kW) with
9.1kgm (89,4 Nm) torque for responsive
acceleration.
As you listen to the familiar voice of the
exhaust, you can sense the energy with
each twist of the throttle. Time for a generous
taste of performance. Time to ride.
7
Engineered to last
Engineered to significantly reduce overall
maintenance costs, key components
have been designed and tested to ensure
remarkable durability.
At the top of its segment, the engine
delivers premium sports performance and
requires less frequent servicing thanks to
state-of-the-art engineering technologies.
Routine maintenance is set at 15,000km for
oil change and only after 30,000km will you
need to check valve clearance.
9
Built to perform
Built to show its innate strength, the
Monster 821 stands out by virtue of its
distinctive steel trellis frame. Lightweight
and structurally robust, the frame is fully
integrated with the engine via the new
cylinder heads in true Panigale racing style.
Engineered to ensure minimal weight
and overall size, the frame together with
the engine becomes the load-bearing
core element of the Monster 821 which
weighs a mere 179,5 kg. This enhances the
motorcycle’s character as an agile sports
performance model.
11
Designed to impress
Designed to ensure easy handling and
reassuring agility in all conditions, the
Monster 821 is fitted with 10-spoke light
alloy wheels and a double-sided swingarm
which gives the ideal wheelbase for
improved control.
Lean confidently and you will feel the stability
of the 180/60 rear tyre as it delivers maximum
traction when cornering. Brake hard and you
immediately realise the superiority of the
320mm front discs with Brembo monobloc
callipers.
13
Equipped to excite
Equipped with cutting-edge electronics,
the Monster 821 is built to respond to your
desires. Ducati Riding Mode technology
provides 3 performance settings by calibrating power and by selecting the level of
traction control and a tailored ABS setting.
As a standard feature, the Ducati Safety
Pack protects you with the eight-level
Ducati Traction Control device and Bosch
9MP ABS with 3 settings. Ride confidently
and stay in control at all times thanks to the
