IN THE MECHANICAL FIELD
TECNOGEN’s headquarters is located in Pontenure (Piacenza), Northern
Italy, between the international F1 circuits of Monza and Imola.
This is a worldwide well known land characterized by the “Motor Valley”,
the industrial district proud of a centuries-old tradition in AUTOMOTIVE,
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING and MOTORING sectors.
The Motor Valley reaches the excellence in the field of luxury cars and
motorcycles up to international racing competitions.

and Felice MATTEUCCI (engineer)
invented and built the first internal
combustion engine in the history.
The first application was realized
in a little factory in the Santa Maria

He produced the first standard format MPEG1, MPEG-2 and MP3, which has revolutionized
the audio and video file compression’s system
in the world.

of cooling air in a very innovative way through its special multiple

THE POWER OF LED
THE POWER OF CONTROL
The new range of LED lighting towers, the truly
eco-solution, are characterized by less consumption
than incandescent systems; long-life up to five
times longer than best traditional lamps; lower
environmental impact, thanks to its lower
consumption and to the lack of hard to dispose of
materials, such as mercury; more safety because of
low voltage used and no ultraviolet infrared radiation.
Remote Fleet Monitoring (RFM) devices, designed by UNITS CONTROL,
a Company of BRUNO Group, can be used for stopping/starting
generating sets, blocking/unblocking control panels, resetting alarms,
switching between manual auto start & automatic mode and more features
such as fuel management, battery level, oil pressure, engine temperature,etc.

The COMPANY has TOTAL CONTROL OF ALL PRODUCTION PHASES, starting from
the punching and the cutting of the metal sheets, to bending and automatic painting steps. Even
the assembling phase and the control tests, which are carried out on every finished item, are
INTERNALLY MANAGED, as well as the packaging before the final shipment.
In the age of globalisation, TECNOGEN strongly believes in holding all production
factories in Italy to ensure the highest quality of its product and extra bit of

CUSTOM MADE POWER
TECNOGEN POWER GENERATORS, ranging from 2 to 3000 kVA,
are powered by the best engines and alternators available on the market.
The soundproofed galvanized canopies are internally made at
TECNOGEN’s own factories.
The company is able to build up POWER STATIONS up to 20 MW, with the
special synchronization systems, and it offers the possibility to equip all the
generating sets with innovative remote control units.
The product’s line also includes LIGHTING TOWERS, equipped with
metal halide lamps or with the innovative LED technology.

For TECNOGEN quality is not limited to the products, but it is conceived as a way of
thinking and operating. We have realized technologically advanced laboratories equipped
with the latest generation testing machines which are able to test the IP grade, the
level of external agents aggression in particular environments and the tropicalization.
Saline fog test are carried out to verify the materials oxidation and stress tests are made both
on mechanical and electrical components.
Climatic chambers and thermo metering tools are used to perform thermal analysis of
electrical and mechanical parts.
ALL TECNOGEN GENERATING SETS
ARE FACTORY TESTED APPLYING DIFFERENT LOAD
STEPS UP TO 110% OF THE NOMINAL POWER.
TESTING IS CARRIED OUT ON EACH GENSET
PRODUCED AND NOT JUST RANDOMLY.

Oscilloscopes and similar equipment measure the voltage waveform
distortions in case of non-linear loads, while an innovative photometric
tunnel verifies the parameters for the lighting products.
Assessing abnormal vibrations, doing accurate tests for noise levels and
painting gripping are activities led by our highly trained staff.
In this way TECNOGEN has become leader in professional sectors,
characterizing its products for reliability thanks to the best QUALITY
CONTROL guaranteed by the VERTICAL INTEGRATION STRATEGY.
All the productive activities are compliant with Quality Management
