We welcomed our visit, Barbara Beavers, whose son needs our prayers. Our concerns include Wynelle’s daughter and Mary Ross who recuperating. Remember our retreat is May 21 at Sunny Ridge at 9:00 a.m. with a catered meal that is $10 and needs to be paid in advance. Barbara Jones has wonderful things planned. Judy Brown’s joy was attending her granddaughter’s graduation from UT in Tyler. Happy Birthday to Margie Crunk on May 5 and Luecille Kearby on May 9. Harvey’s lesson focused on Mother’s Day. He shared three stories of Mothers who offered the invitation to know Christ to their children. We all have had the opportunity to know God. What is our response? To have the faith Samuel had, we need to believe, listen and obey in order to have a partnership with God. Thanks Harvey for a good lesson. PARTNERS IN FAITH: Happy Mother’s Day! We had 16 PIF’ers in class this morning. Thank you to Judy for the snacks. Very tasty! We read through chapter 13 in our study book and we started working through the discussion questions. Next week we will pick up with question 2. President Wills has placed the order for our new study book and they will be arriving shortly. Our class is scheduled to work the resale shop this coming weekend. We have filled all shifts. If you signed up for a shift but find yourself unable to work the shift please find a substitute. The season for graduations is upon us. The Chatham’s granddaughter, McCall, is graduating high school and will be headed off to Oklahoma State University. Friends of Carolyn Hames, Megan, Chandler and Paige are all graduating high school and will be headed off to Texas Tech. We are very proud of all of them and we too celebrate their accomplishments. Linda’s dad celebrated his 87th birthday and Ed’s grand niece attended her first communion! Lots of great things going on with our loved ones in the PIF Class. During your daily prayer time this week please continue to remember Paul, Jackie and Barbara’s co-worker. Have a great week!
