General Information:
Name Badges: You are REQUIRED to wear your Name Badge at
all times during the Convention and evening events. Your Badge is
our only way of distinguishing you as a registered attendee. If you
lose your badge, a replacement may be obtained, with proper ID, at
the Registration Table in the main hall of the ACRE Wing of the hotel.
Your Badge will be your entry ticket to the Jr. Ballroom for the Friday
Evening and the Saturday Evening Socials and for the FREE Buffet
Lunch on Saturday.
Schedule: Every effort will be made to adhere to the schedule
printed in this Program. However, unavoidable circumstances may
cause us to make changes during the course of the Convention. We
will immediately inform the audience if any such change is necessary.
We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
Noise Abatement: We request that you turn off your cellular phone
during the Convention teaching sessions. While we realize that your
phone is a valuable tool for your business, their signals can be distracting to the instructors and other attendees. We appreciate your
cooperation. In addition, conversations, although important, should
be taken into the hall.
Early Registration Bonus Bags: One Early Registration Bonus
Bag will be given to each registrant or couple when picking up their
nametag at the Registration Table—while supplies last.
Bookstore: All books, tapes and other training materials made available by our Speakers will be on display for your inspection and/or
purchase in The Bookstore located in the rear of the Grand Ballroom
Room during the Convention. To ensure delivery of the materials
while you are at the conference, we suggest that you order quickly
and present your paid receipt immediately at the ACRE Office in the
rear of the Grand Ballroom and redeem your purchase while supplies last. If the Speaker sells out, your materials will be shipped as
soon as possible by the speaker after the Convention.
Recording/ Photography: It is not permissible to make video or
audio recordings of any presentation. Still photos are permitted.
Please use flashes with discretion. ACRE of Pittsburgh, Inc. reserves
the right to photograph for print and promo purposes. Your attendance grants ACRE publication rights without compensation.
Meals: A FREE Buffet Lunch sponsored by ACRE is being provided
by the hotel caterer for all registered attendees on Saturday at 12:30
pm in the Junior Ballroom. There is no need to rush. Enough food
will be available, so you can spend time in the Bookstore, with the
Speakers, or with the Vendors. On Friday and Saturday evenings
starting at approximately 6:00 pm, snacks will be provided with a
cash bar. After the Speaker is finished, take a break and talk with
the Speakers while the hotel staff makes their preparations. With all
provided food, there will be no substitutions or refunds.
Hotel Rooms: Hotel rooms are available at the DoubleTree Hotel
and other hotels within walking distance. Contact the DoubleTree
Hotel directly for special Convention rates. Registration is strictly between the hotel and the attendee. ACRE recommends that you stay
at the DoubleTree Hotel and that you register early. If you are going
to drink alcohol, it is strongly suggested that you do not drive!
Lost and Found: The Lost and Found will be located in the ACRE
Office at the rear of the Grand Ballroom or at the DoubleTree Hotel
registration counter.
Bulletin Boards: Bulletin Boards will be available outside the
ballrooms for messages, notices, and Property for Sale Ads, and for
other information of general interest to all attendees. ACRE of Pgh.
must approve all handouts, displays, ads, and anything else disseminated at the conference. ACRE of Pgh. accepts no responsibility for
any postings, flyers, handouts, or information from any source. No
information shall be distributed in any other manner and must be
approved by ACRE.
Discount Coupons: Discount coupons are a courtesy of ACRE and
are not involved with any Speaker. Two $25.00 off discount coupons
are given to each early registrant. Only one coupon can be used with
each purchase. A discount coupon can be used only on any Speaker’s Package of $300.00 or more. Again, this is a courtesy of ACRE.
Please do not take advantage of our Good Will.
Prize Drawings: Prizes will be awarded during the Convention. All
prizes are provided by ACRE, certain vendors, and the Speakers.
There is no substitution or cash value, and ACRE accepts no responsibility for any situations concerning these free gifts. For all prizes,
you must put a business card or your name into the bowl at each
Vendor table to be eligible. Names will be drawn at random from
random bowls. You must be present to win! Be at the Convention
and in the Ballroom on time each morning and after any breaks. We
will close out the Convention with the Grand Prizes Sunday after the
last speaker. Only one prize per attendee on Sunday! To Repeat,

Alcoholic Beverages: No alcoholic beverages are permitted on
