From The Chaplain’s Pen
Dear O’Leary!
I’d like to welcome new and old Spartan’s to another fun and exciting
school year! The 2015/2016 school year is going to be filled with
retreats, amazing volunteer opportunities, exciting social justice
initiatives, and another great trip to the Los Angeles Religious
Education Congress in February.
We are once again supporting the Edmonton Foodbank and the Marian Center by
spending time at both agencies every month and volunteering our time. Both
agencies are very important to Edmonton and serving the needs of many
Edmontontonians.
Every day we are thankful, but in the month of October we gather as a school
community to show our thankfulness by collecting food items for the Edmonton
Foodbank. Thank you everyone for your generous contribution!
We gathered together as a school in prayer with Father Dean Dowle prior to
Thanksgiving. Thank you to Mrs Nahayowski and her choir students, Miss Marlen and
her readers, and everyone for making our Thanksgiving Celebration reverent,
prayerful and meaningful.
The Grade 10 retreat took place in October. Students went out to Camp Nakamun for
a day and a half. We had a wonderful time taking a moment to making new friends,
reconnect with one another, spend time witnessing the wonders and beauty of God’s
creation, sang songs, had a campfire, challenged ourselves on the zip line and rock
wall. Thank you to all the students who attended, as well as Mr. Felicitas, Miss
Marlen, and Mr. Viardo for all of your help and support.
Student response to Grade 10 2015 Retreat:
“The Grade 10 retreat this year is something that
those who went, are so very glad and thankful that
they had the opportunity to do. Not only were we
given a break from our chaotic and busy lives to relax
and sit back with our friends, but we also got the
experience of a lifetime. The camp we stayed at was
amazing and did not feel like a camp at all! With a
swimming pool, air hockey table, Foos ball table, ping
pong table and gym the camp felt more like a hotel than anything! Our days were
filled with great food and amazing activities including but not limited to rock climbing,
zip lining, and many opportunities to strengthen our faith with prayers and a lovely
liturgy. Meeting new friends, playing in the park, facing our fears, enjoying the view of
the beautiful lake, singing songs by the campfire, and drinking endless amounts of hot
chocolate are memories that will stay within us forever. I know that everyone who
attended are all grateful for this experience and feel truly blessed that our Grade 10
year started with such a cherished memory.”

Religion PDT sessions have been excellent so far! Did you know that we have 40
students who have signed up for the St. Matthew’s Study Buddy Program for first
semester? They spend their PDT sessions volunteering their time working with “the
littles” right across the street! Father Dean Dowle has joined our students in
celebrating mass, Father Julian Bilyj has 4 reoccurring sessions that started in October
where he joins the students for sessions on the Gospels, the Rosary, prayer, and
general information. Students can also take advantage of quiet spaces, film studies,
coffee/tea with the chaplain. In November there will also be Christmas Hamper box
assembling and decorating PDT sessions for the students. We look forward to growing
in our faith and learning during our PDT sessions.
In the month of November we will be adding two other exciting volunteering
opportunities to the calendar. On November 1, 2015, students and staff will be
helping Santas Anonymous collect toys at the home game. 135 staff and students
have registered for the Festival of Trees on November 26, 2015. These students and
staff will be volunteering their time at the Festival of Trees by running different
stations in the evening. This is a yearly event that helps support the University of
Alberta Hospital Foundation. Both events are becoming a part of our O’Leary tradition
by helping those in need during the holidays. Thank you in advance to the students
and staff who came out to help volunteer for such a great cause.
There are so many more fun and exciting opportunities for you to get involved at
O’Leary! Stay tuned for announcements on: the Christmas Hamper Food Drive
(November 30-December 11), Gr 12 Retreat, and other fun and exciting opportunities!

God of all blessings,
source of all life,
giver of all grace:
We thank you for the gift of life:
for the breath
that sustains life,
for the food of this earth
that nurtures life,
for the love of family and friends
without which there would be no life.
We thank you for the mystery of creation:
for the beauty
that the eye can see,
for the joy
that the ear may hear,
for the unknown
that we cannot behold filling the universe with wonder,
for the expanse of space
that draws us beyond the definitions of our selves.
We thank you for setting us in communities:
for families
who nurture our becoming,
for friends
who love us by choice,
for companions at work,
who share our burdens and daily tasks,
for strangers
who welcome us into their midst.
We thank you for this day:
for life
and one more day to love,
for opportunity
and one more day to work for justice and peace,
for neighbors
and one more person to love
and by whom be loved,
for your grace
and one more experience of your presence,
for your promise:
to be with us,
to be our God,
and to give salvation.
For these, and all blessings,
we give you thanks, eternal, loving God,
through Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Students’ Union Report:
The SU and activities around the school.
Student Activities began with Grade 10 Week: a week devoted to our
grade 10 students to become familiar with the Spartan Spirit of our
school. O’Leary’s Survivor challenged our grade 10 students to physical
and mental challenges, and even brave contestants chugged a jellyfish
shake.
We hosted an Amazing Race where students were challenged to learn a
taekwondo sequence from Japan, master a Croatian poem, a soccer
sequence from Europe, and the Irish Jig.
A watermelon eating challenge brought memories of the last bits of
summer to our school, and Survivor Part 2 ended with a challenge of our
3 male administrators who each teamed up with Monday’s grade 10
finalists to a mental and physical challenge. A plate of crickets were
consumed by both the administrators and grade 10 students, and we saw
our grade 10s were made of the Spartan pride and stamina that is part of
our school.
6
In October, the SU hosted a Fear
Factor in which students watched 12
b r a v e t e a c h e r s , s t a f f,
and
administrators consume some
‘questionable food items’ that included
duck neck, baby octopus, and
tripe. Yet the challenge of a lock and
patterned keychain that was hidden
within the pails of live worms and
maggots got the faintest of hearts to
admire O'Leary's staff. Mr. Zacharko did win the challenge but was put to
the test by 11 other brave staff.
Halloween week had a Halloween challenge of
students being mummified, and a taped ‘fly’ to
the duct taped spider web wall was won by two
determined girl groups. A costume contest on
Halloween Friday brought the cafeteria to witness
the United States presidential candidates arrive
at O’Leary’s caf to win first prize.
O’Leary’s
garbage receptacles were certainly also a crowd
favorite. Candy was enjoyed by all who were
dressed for Halloween.
November brings a Friday the 13th that will
encourage all zombies to take part in the Zombie
Run. November we will have a candy event to
raise money for St. Vincent de Paul. O’Leary’s
Students’ Union hopes to see you at our next
event on November 13.
7
O’Leary Welcomes the Newest Members of the
Spartan Community!
O’Leary welcomed our new grade 10 students to an orientation day on
September 8. In the morning, after attending a short assembly in the
gym, they were able to make their way around the school to visit all of
their classes and meet their teachers.
For lunch they were fed and watered by our very own Spartan Grill, owned
and operated by Gino DeLuca. Our amazing students’ union members
assisted to ensure a smooth operation in getting everyone fed in a timely
manner.
The afternoon was an opportunity for the students to spend time with
their teacher advisors and the other grade 10 students in their TA cohort.
Together, they toured the school visiting the many departments and
facilities of O’Leary as well as engaging in numerous fun and relaxing
activities hosted by the students’ union. It was an enjoyable day for all
and the consensus was that the grade 10 students enjoyed the
opportunity to have the school all to themselves.
8
O’Leary Awards Night
On Wednesday, October 14th O'Leary hosted our annual awards night. We
celebrated the scholastic achievements of our O’Leary students for the
2014-2015 school year. As in previous year, students were honoured in
subject areas as well as those who were able to attain a Rutherford
Scholarship average at each grade level.
9
Science 20 Riverwatch Fieldtrip
On Oct. 14, Ms. Rolph-Devicque, along with Mrs. Tonsi, Mr. Lahoda and Ms.
Robertson, took her science 20 students on a Riverwatch fieldtrip as part of the
biology curriculum. As the students rafted down a 10 km stretch of the river they
were able to learn about the river’s history and stop at different points along the
shoreline to conduct biology tests to determine the overall ‘health’ of the river’s water
particularly in and around Edmonton’s water treatment facility. The day also entailed
a visit to the water treatment plant, a leisurely lunch in the river valley and some
intense physical activity, carrying the boats to the river, paddling against 20 km
winds and pulling the boats back out of the river to load them onto the trailer!
Overall, a very engaging and beneficial activity for the Science 20 students who
participated!
10
NAIT Program Fair
On Sept. 30 the success center hosted an incredible morning with NAIT. Over 20
representatives took the time to meet with students and answer questions about their
respective programs. Approximately 450 O’Leary students moved through the center
learning about what NAIT has to offer. Don Stewart, the high school coordinator, was
also in attendance to answer any additional questions that students might have had.
All students, grade 10, 11, & 12 are encouraged to speak with Mr. Cicchini, Mrs.
Cuciz, or Mrs. Page about their post-secondary choices. It’s never too early to plan.
Career PDT Sessions
Career PDT sessions have been a huge hit at Archbishop O'Leary, in fact most
sessions have been completely full! The following careers have already been
presented: Power Engineering, Trauma Nursing, Policing, and Paramedic. A special
presentation was also made last week by grade 12 student, Michaella Chemello,
detailing her experience this past summer with WISEST, a summer research program
for students interested in science, engineering and technology at the University of
Alberta.
Some of the upcoming career sessions will include presentations from a window
glazier, registered psychologist, actor/director and improviser, sonographer, x-ray/lab
technician and teacher. All upcoming career sessions can be easily found using the
heading of careers. Hope to see you there!
11
O’Leary’s New PDT
This year, O’Leary has revamped the way that we offer our flexible programming. In
previous years, help sessions and enrichment activities were offered during a 60minute lunch hour and flex block. In order to make these flexible sessions more
accessible and attended, we embedded our flex block into our schedule and
dramatically increased the number of sessions that students were being offered.
In addition to giving students access to curricular help and quiet workspace, we have
seen some amazing sessions already offered this year. Our PDT model has enabled us
to bring in world-class guest speakers like Esks alumni Gizmo Williams and musician
Jesse Mast, career sessions in fields such as nursing, construction, policing and acting,
and given the students the chance to learn new skills, such as cooking, design, and
yoga.
12
To ensure you are getting the most out of your PDT selections, here are some tips:
Book early. Teachers will post sessions on Thursday afternoons. Try searching
Thursday night for sessions for the following week. By the weekend, you should have
ALL your PDT sessions scheduled for the following week.
Read the description. You wouldn’t choose a movie to see without knowing what it
was about. Take the same approach with PDT. Click View to read the description of a
session before registering. This will help to ensure the session meets your needs, and
that you are permitted to attend.
Look ahead in your courses. If you have an exam coming up, plan ahead to attend
a help session in that subject area the day before. If you end up not needing the help,
you can always use the time to work on other homework.
Communicate to your teachers. If you want to attend a session but it is full, talk to
your teacher. There may be repeat sessions coming, or your teacher may decide to
add additional sessions if the demand exists. If you have a conflict between two
sessions that you feel you must attend, talk to both teachers to determine the best
course of action.
Try something new. Many of the enrichment activities offered are done for free or at
a much reduced cost compared to what you would pay for a similar session from a
private business. Take advantage of it!
Unregister if you know you’ll be absent. If you have an appointment or planned
absence that will take you away from PDT, please unregister from the session to free
up the spot for someone else. It’s very frustrating for a student who couldn’t get into
a full session to see those empty seats!
Listen to the weekly highlights. In Friday’s broadcast of O’Leary Morning Live, we’ll
highlight some cool sessions being offered for the following week. If something piques
your interest, sign up for it right away!
Strike a balance. Try to choose a mix of curricular and enrichment activities that will
allow you to succeed in your courses but also give you a much-needed mental break
once in a while.

RAP
A Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) provides the opportunity for High
School Students to apprentice in their chosen trade of interest while simultaneously
earning credits toward a high school diploma.
Schedule of work-hours are agreed upon by the school, the employer and the
apprentice. A student can choose to train as an apprentice in over 50 different trades
including electrician, cook, technician, hairstylist, landscape gardener, or motor
vehicle mechanic. For many of the programs, students will first work with the
employer on a trail basis as a work experience or co-op placement. During this time,
the employer is able to evaluate the performance of the student and determine if the
student is a suitable fit for apprenticeship training. This also allows the student to get
to know the employer before signing an apprenticeship contract.
Occasionally, students will have their own contacts in the industry and will find their
own employers. A family member may be a tradesperson or may even own a
company where the student can begin his or her apprenticeship. It is also possible
that the schoolwork experience coordinator (Mr. Filice) will be able to recommend
suitable employers or have a list of employers that are interested in training high
school apprentices.
“Excellent start on a career in their trade.”
While on the job, apprenticing students are treated like regular employees and are
paid at least minimum wage. They are expected to report to work on time, complete
the assigned work on time, complete the assigned work in a safe manner and learn
the required skills through the guidance of their journeyperson supervisor. They must
have a good attendance record and all-round good citizenship in school.
High School Apprenticeship programs are about opportunity: the opportunity to earn
money while learning, the opportunity to learn a skill that is in demand and the
opportunity to get a head start.
See Mr. Fausto Filice in the Success Centre to get started.

the school motto of discipline, pride and honor as they helped to create a positive
experience for all the junior high participants.
Thank you to all the staff members who helped run the tournament, to our concession

Both the Men’s and Ladies golf teams were well represented at the City Championships
this year. The event was held on days that saw a little bit of everything in terms of
weather. We had rain, sleet, wind and sunshine. It definitely was not an easy day to
score. Both teams finished in the top 10 in the city. It’s time to put away the clubs for
the winter. Well done!
The boys were represented by Nick Jarema, Carson Mattice, Daniel Pilon and Nathan

The ladies, for the second year in a row, were represented by Kaila Gosset and Saige

Cross Country
This year’s cross country team had a very fun and successful season.
The cross country team includes grade 10, 11 and 12 students at all levels of fitness.
We participated in 5 cross country meets during the season, which ended with the city
finals in October.
All members of the cross country team improved throughout the season, with many
runners achieving their personal bests at the city finals.
Congratulations to Paige Patterson who qualified for the provincial championship after
finishing in the top 18 in her category in the city finals. She represented Archbishop
O’Leary at the Provincial Championship in Grande Prairie on October 17. Great job
Paige!
The coaching staff would like to thank all the runners for their enthusiasm and

JUNIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL
This year’s edition of the Spartan Junior Men’s Volleyball team is a promising one that
has shown continued growth through the season. The team is led by its only returning
player, Tyler Brown, along with captain, Dominic Pilon. The team’s offence is
quarterbacked by first year setter Marco Manna. Swinging out of the power position,
the team has Karl Muhlethaler, Kevin Nguyen, and Roneel Chand. This year’s right
sides are the powerful tandem of Keith Pham and Josh Pontrivida. Rounding the team
out at the middle position are Paul Hayduk and Babiel Abraham, along with Patrick
Kowalik as libero. With tournaments at Memorial Composite, the University of Calgary,
and Scona, the team will look to build upon strong performances in order to make a
push for the City Championship.

Archbishop O’Leary Senior Football
The Sr. Spartan Football team had a frustrating season this
year. The Spartans started the 2015 campaign with some
great expectations, but their hope of another appearance in
the Miles Conference championship became nothing but a
dream. The Spartans opened the season with a bye the first
time in the last 20 years. This allowed for some extra time
to get their green quarterback, Tyler Grimwood ready for the
huge challenge of leading the Spartans this year.
The team opened the season against W.P. Wagner and came
away with a big win handling the Warriors easily. Next came the Scona Lords where
the Spartans grabbed their second win in a physical game that wasn’t decided until late
in the 4th quarter. This would be the last victory for the Spartans as they lost the next
4 league games finishing the season with a 2 and 4 record which left them with one of
the last play-off spots.
The Spartans played the Ardrossan Bisons in the quarter final in an exciting contest
where O’Leary’s defense played their best game of the season. At the half Ardrossan
lead 6 to 3 and by the end of the 3rd quarter the score had not changed. With O’Leary
unable to get anything going on offence the season ended with a score of 8 to 5 in
favour of Ardrossan.
Remember the Spartans—we will be back next season.

Another school year has brought a new group of young athletes together, to form this
year’s Junior Football team. Many of the players on the team have not has much
football experience before coming to O’Leary. However despite this, the hard work and
perseverance of the players and coaches has resulted in much success throughout the
season. The team moved into playoffs having secured the number one seed in the
second division. Following a 15-14 win against Austin O’Brien in the semifinals the
Junior Football Program progressed into the division two city final for a fourth
consecutive season losing out in a close game against the Salisbury Sabres with a final
score of 35—25. Thank you players and coaches for achieving another successful

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you… Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let
them be afraid. ~ John 14:27
This beautiful scripture passage tells us so much about Christ’s mission. He is the Prince of
Peace, and the gift of His life, of His peace, brings us great comfort and hope as a people of
God. It is also a call to action for us. We need to be a people of God’s love and of His peace.
November 27 marks the day that Edmonton Catholic Schools will honor Holodomor Memorial
Day. This event highlights the Ukrainian genocide of 1932-33. In this month of remembrances
which includes November 11, as we learn about the great tragedies of war and tyranny, we
hope to impart our students with the knowledge of the past so that they understand the
importance of peace and democracy for the future.
Catholic Education Sunday falls on November 1 this year. It is an excellent opportunity for us
to take time to pray for the continued gift of publicly funded Catholic education in Alberta and
to pray for those who are committed to living their vocations through Catholic education. You
can find more on our website at https://www.ecsd.net/aboutus/catholic-identity/what-iscatholic-education/catholic-education-sunday/pages/default.aspx .
This month, we will highlight the Second Mark of Catholic School Identity- Imbued with a
Catholic Worldview. Every school culture conveys to its community a particular ethos, or
view of the world. An authentic Catholic school will live and breathe a vision that is shaped by
reflection, action, official teaching and prayer and is grounded in the teachings of Jesus and his
Church.
Our Board of Trustees elected Marilyn Bergstra as Chair and John Acheson as Vice Chair at
their October 13th meeting. We congratulate them both! At that same meeting, the Board also
had first reading of a draft policy on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression.
We will now begin community consultation on that draft policy so that our parents and
students have ample opportunity to provide us with their feedback to inform our next steps.
School councils will be asked to send representatives to consultation meetings, but ALL
stakeholders are invited to participate in an online survey to give feedback. The survey can be
found
at
https://www.ecsd.net/BoardofTrustees/Reports-and-Resources/CommunityConsultations/Pages/default.aspx and will be open from November 2 to November 18.
Edmonton Catholic Schools believes it is essential to involve parents in providing input into
the budget process. In preparation for the upcoming 2016-2017 budget it is important that the
district gather as much information as possible. Therefore, as a parent of Edmonton Catholic
Schools, your feedback will provide a valuable contribution in the decision making process.
We would like to gather your input through an online survey which closes on November 6. It
can be accessed by using the URL http://financialservicessurvey.ecsd.net/ .
We will also gather feedback from families in our annual District Satisfaction Survey.
Information will be sent to all parents and guardians in mid- November. The survey will take
place from November 23 to December 11. Please take a few moments to share your opinions
with us. The survey can either be sent back to the school or mailed free of charge using the
envelope provided.

We have many things to celebrate this month. The Government of Alberta released several very important reports
in October. Please visit our public website to look at the wonderful results that our District has attained in multiple
areas. The accountability pillar is our overall report card from the province, and it is an excellent report card this
year. https://www.ecsd.net/AboutUs/annual_reports/Pages/Accountability-Pillar-Report.aspx.
You can also review our exceptional PAT and Diploma Exam results. Our students outperform the province in the
standards of acceptable and excellence in many subject areas. https://www.ecsd.net/AboutUs/annual_reports/
Pages/Diploma-and-Provincial-Results.aspx
Student health and safety is very important to us. We have published our health and safety fact sheet which highlights the significant dangers of fentanyl and other important topics. Please take time to read this very important
message and to use it as the beginning of a conversation with your children. It can be found at https://
www.ecsd.net/ParentsStudents/StudentResources/ecsd-health-and-safety/Pages/default.aspx .
Just as our students learn in flexible groupings in their classes and school communities each day, our teachers also
gather with their colleagues in their schools and district to learn. In our District this month, teachers will continue
to inquire and engage in dialogue informally and formally on topics such as making meaning before, during and
after reading across subject disciplines, storytelling, guided math instruction to enhance the processes of communication, connections, mental mathematics and estimation, problem solving, reasoning, technology and visualization
and so much more as part of our focus on literacy and numeracy this year.
To date, Aboriginal Learning Services (ALS) has received much positive feedback from our teacher and student
stakeholders regarding the impact of addressing literacy needs of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit (FNMI) students.
This professional practice incorporates individualized school site support based on guided feedback from teachers
and school administrators. The department has undertaken activities that will offer the best opportunity for success with students and the school district, including the following initiatives: school site visits have commenced to
determine literacy needs of FNMI students, co-developing literacy evenings for parent and school communities,
ongoing research regarding the literacy needs and beliefs around literacy for FNMI students, sourcing relevant leveled FNMI reading materials that can be integrated into all classrooms within the District, and targeted guided
reading support at individual school sites.
You may hear your children talking about the We Care Challenge as part of their school’s social justice program.
Each fall, our schools do an amazing job of raising awareness and funds to support Catholic organizations through
this challenge. As a District we support many organizations including the Edmonton Catholic Schools Foundation
and Sign of Hope.
In closing, I would like to share the words that Pope Francis shared with a group of students a few years ago about
Catholic education. “(The) main element in school is learning to be magnanimous … This means having a big
heart, having a greatness of soul. It means having grand ideals, the desire to achieve great things in response to
what God asks of us and, precisely because of this, doing everyday things, all our daily actions, commitments, and
meetings with people well. (It means) doing the little everyday things with a big heart that is open to God and to
others.”
Sincerely,
Joan Carr
Superintendent

Archangels Michael and Gabriel – God’s Messengers
The Feast of Saints Michael and Gabriel the Archangels and all the Heavenly Powers
is celebrated on November 8.
One of the very first prayer my mother taught me as a child was the Prayer to My
Guardian Angel: “Angel of God, my Guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me
here, ever this day (or night) be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.”
God created the angels to be God’s servants and messengers, and God sends them to
watch over us.
Let us look more closely at the Archangel Michael – the Angel of Righteousness, and
Archangel Gabriel – the Angel of Mercy, in order to gain a closer glimpse into the workings of God.
Archangel Michael appears often in the Bible sent by God to make God’s righteousness known to humankind.
According to Church tradition, Archangel Michael:

Appeared to the Patriarch Abraham to Hagar to announce the birth of Ishmael;

Prevented Abraham from sacrificing his son Isaac, as God had commanded to test
Abraham’s obedience;

Went before the people of Israel when they left Egypt and led them in the form of a
cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night;

Came down from heaven as a prefigurement of Christ and stood in the midst of the
fiery furnace with the three young men, chanting the praises of the Lord with them;

Shut the mouths of the lions in the den where the Prophet Daniel had been thrown;

Brought forth the Apostles from prison;

Appeared to Saint Paul and comforted him in his tribulations;

Interpreted the mysteries of God in the Book of Revelations concerning the end of time;
and

Will be present at the Last Judgement, holding the scales to weigh our deeds.
God’s righteousness cannot be separated from God’s mercy, so let us turn now to
Archangel Gabriel – the Angel of Mercy.
38
According to Church tradition, Archangel Gabriel:

Brings glad tidings to the births by women, barren or past child-bearing;

Appeared to Joachim and Anna to announce the birth of Mary, the Mother of God, and
to Zacharias and Elizabeth to announce the birth of John the Baptist;

Brought heavenly manna to Mary, the Mother of God, during her youth in the Temple;

Announces to Mary the Good News awaited since the beginning of the world, namely,
that she would bring forth God by the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit;

Led the shepherds at the time of the Saviour’s birth in Bethlehem to the cave where
they worshipped the Christ-child;

Warned Joseph of Herod’s murderous plans and told Joseph to take the child and
mother and flee into Egypt; and when the danger had passed, again appears in a dream
and tells Joseph to return;

Descended from heaven clad in white raiment during the holy night of the
Resurrection of Christ, rolled back the stone from the grave, and reassured the myrrhbearing women: “Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
He is not here; for He has risen” from the dead.
Thus, from the creation of the world and to the end of time, God sends angels to be
God’s servants and messengers, making known God’s righteousness and mercy to
humankind.
On a personal note, I’ve met many other angels throughout my life, and you’re one
of them!
Let me explain. Sam Levinson writes, “I believe that each newborn child arrives
on earth with a message to deliver to humankind. Clenched in his little fist is some
particle of yet unresolved truth, some missing clue, which may solve the enigma of man’s
destiny. He has a limited amount of time to fulfill his mission and he will never get a
second chance, nor will we. He may be our last hope. He must be treated as top-sacred.”
God sends each of us into the world as servants and messengers on some special
mission, each one of us revealing a bit more of God’s plan for the world and for the
salvation of humankind.
And God couldn’t do it without each of God’s angels, you and me!
God bless!
