March - Apron Strings

The Dish
March, 2012
Can you believe it’s March. . .already? This week we have a string of 70+ temps, with near 80 by Saturday. It’s been a lovely
break in a month that typically sees 12+ inches of snow. I even saw the tips of my crocus and tulips coming up along the front
walk. Now if it would just green up everywhere else. . .
There’s plenty of color in the March kits to match the current Spring-like weather though. American Crafts Daydreams and We R
Memory Keepers Cotton Tail have variations on Spring – the former is bright and graphic, while the latter has a softer pallet and
is more watercolor in feel. Find the designer who used American Crafts to document a trip into the outdoors, while another
honored the 100th birthday of Oreo (yum!) Besides the obvious use of Spring photos with We R Memory Keepers, one designer
found it useful for the first day of school. Then there’s the vibrant color in Echo Park Happy Days with patterns that can be both
feminine or masculine – great for those Spring sports. And we go the other way, soft shades, soft graphics in KaiserCraft Blae
and Ivy, perfect for a little Frogging. Finally, Pebbles Fresh Goods caps off all that Spring freshness that a designer found useful
in her Week Eight journey of Project Life.
The rewards continue. Last month the coupon codes brought the winner’s choice of a TV Dinner. Congrats to Diane Hudson,
Carla Heslop and Erika Herrmann! This month, who will be the lucky winners. . .and what’s the prize? Wait and see. And then
be sure to join Apron Strings for your chance to win.

Substitutions:
Here's what you need to know about Substitutions within your AutoShipped kits.
• What does this mean? It means that you can substitute one pack out of your upcoming kit, for a pack from an
available, same-sized, past kit. Limited to one pack per kit and substitutions can only be made from past kits that
are the same as your autoship: i.e. Bigger than a Breadbox packs for past Bigger than a Breadbox packs.
• Send an email ([email protected]) about which pack within the upcoming kit you’d like to sub-out
and what pack from a past kit you’d like to sub-in.
