Thank you to all the parents

SMA PERFORMING ARTS
Belle Pride
BRAVO! BRAVO! To Ms. Sandy
Masciarelli and the Performing
Arts Dept. for their production of
“THE WIZARD OF OZ”; it was
simply delightful. Our students
came together beautifully and
presented a very polished
performance of this classic tale.
From the make-up and costumes,
to the set design and programs,
everything was on point. If you
missed it, you missed a real treat.

May 2, 2015---The weather was perfect for this year’s Derby Day at Santa Anita Park.
We were all ready to pick the winning horse for each race, and many of us won a little
money. The Kentucky Derby was the main event of the day, with American Pharoah coming
in first place. I think Mr. Villarreal’s Dad really knows his ponies. The silent auction items
were a big hit. Alumnae, Staff and Parents truly had a wonderful afternoon, all while
assisting St. Mary’s Academy. The grand prize winner of the Hawaiian raffle was Milton
Romero.
Derby Day proceeds benefit St. Mary’s Academy tuition assistance program.
