If excessive waters accumulates in the cushion, stand upright with the open zipper
or seam side down. The cushion should dry quickly as this facilitates the draining of
the water through the fibers.
Elements Stainless Steel Contemporary Collection
Lloyd Flanders uses 304 Grade Stainless Steel with an Electro-polished finish to
create a featureless surface that resists contaminants, providing additional
protection.
Care and Maintenance of Stainless Steel
Stainless steel surfaces require routine cleaning to maintain a desirable appearance
as well as preserve corrosion resistance. Cleaning removes contaminants such as
dirt, fingerprints, and stains from the micro-layer of Chromium Oxide which
protects the surface.
When cleaning stainless steel, it is important to remember to avoid abrasive
cleaning tools or substances such as powder-based cleaners, as they can damage
some finishes permanently. If an abrasive substance is needed, test on a small,

Cleaning with warm water and a soft cloth or sponge will most often take care of
mild stains and loose dirt. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry to reduce water
stains.
Fingerprints, oils, and greases should be cleaned with a chlorine-free cleaning
compound by applying a small amount to a soft cloth and wiping. If streaks remain,
wash with warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. Stainless Steel cleaner and polish
are available at many retailers. Do not use cleaning compounds in enclosed spaces
or while smoking.
Lloyd Flanders recommends the use of Dursol Metal Cleaner and Polisher, as well as
Autosol Metal Polish to meet your Stainless Steel cleaning and polishing needs.
Important Notes: Avoid cleaning materials that are abrasive or potentially
abrasive. Avoid cleaners that contain Chlorine.
Storing Your Stainless Steel Furniture
Always thoroughly clean furniture before storing. When storing stainless steel
furniture, ensure that it is stored in an upright position to allow water to drain.
Storing furniture upside down may result in water accumulating and freezing inside
the frame, causing damage to structural integrity. Furniture should be stored in a
dry place such as a garage, garden shed, or basement.
