Hey there Arts House Alums!
This is a really exciting time here in
West Philly because we are
anxiously preparing for our 20th
anniversary show! We barely had
time to breathe when we came back
from winter break, because we got
started right away preparing for
this milestone!
Spring Show
Fall 2004
We had a great fall semester this year.
After getting three fantastic freshmen, we
put together a collaborative show with
Penny Loafers, an amazing acapella group
here at Penn. We had a great time
performing for sold out crowds, and were
very really excited to see some of you
alumni that came out to see the show.
Unfortunately, we were without two of our
dancers, Ashley, who took the semester off,
and Bree, who went to study abroad in
Scotland. Thankfully, we had no injuries
this semester, unlike this time last year,
when we had two broken feet!
We are so excited about our upcoming 20th
anniversary show! We have been working
really hard already to make this a
performance to remember, and nothing
could make the show more special than the
presence of our alumni. This is a special
time for all of us, so come join us in our
celebration not only of dance, music, and
friendship, but also of the truly unique and
amazing experience that we have all shared
by being a part of Arts House Dance
Company. The show is going to be March
18 and 19 in the Harold Prince Theater at
the Annenberg Center, 3700 Walnut
Street. We are preparing 12 new pieces
and we are also reviving one of our old
favorites. Not only that, two of our pieces
will feature choreography from two of our
alumni, Brooke Dairman and Jessica
Brand. It is going to be a lot of fun, and we
hope to see you there! If you would like to
