1.Norman C. Moore, MD
Dr. Moore received his medical degree at the Queen's University of Belfast in the United
Kingdom. After completing his residency in Psychiatry at the Royal Air Force he continued on to
complete his fellowship at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He has over 40 years
of experience in the field of psychiatry;both in practicing and teaching. He used to work as
Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne in Australia. Right now he is
affiliated with the Johnson City Medical Center and his clinic in Tennessee, where he continues
to practice psychiatry.
2.Tamer Demiralp, MD
Having received his Medical and Doctoral degree at the Istanbul University School of
Medicine, Dr. Demiralp currently works there as a professor in the Department of Physiology.
As well as being a professor he also takes part in research studies on topics such as the
following: Cognitive Neuroscience, EEG and Event-Related Potentials, Neuroimaging and
Biomedical Signal Processing. The topic he will be discussing at the upcoming ECNS 2010
conference will be Hemodynamic Correlates of Evoked Brain Rhythms: An Approach to
EEG-fMRI Fusion Based on Steady-State Evoked Responses.
3.Ayþenil Belger, PhD
Dr. Belger moved onto complete her MA and PhD in physiological psychology at the
University of Illinois in Champaign- Urbana. She is currently teaching as Adjunct Associate
Professor in the Department of Radiology and Brain Imaging and Analysis Center at Duke
University School of Medicine, as Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at
the University of North Carolina and in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of
North Carolina School of Medicine.Her research areas include: schizophrenia, fMRI, and
cognitive abilities.
4.Pedro Valdes-Sosa
Mr. Valdes-Sosa is Senior Researcher and Director for Research of the Department of
Neurophysics at the Cuban Neuroscience Center (CNC). His areas of research include:
statistical analysis of electrophysiological measurements, neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG and MEG
tomography), nonlinear dynamical modeling of brain function and development of software and
electrophysiological equipment. The topic he will be discussing at the ECNS 2010 conference
will be: Multimodal quantitative neuroimaging databases and methods: the Cuban Human Brain
Mapping Project.

5.Kamil Uludað
After obtaining his doctoral degree in physics from Humboldt Universität in Berlin, Germany, Dr.
Uludað became a Postdoctorate Researcher in functional MRI at the Center for Functional
Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the University of California, San Diego. Now, he works as head
of Human Functional Imaging Department of the High Field MR Center at the Max-PlanckInstitute for Biological Cybernetics in Germany. In addition to the above, he is also on the
Editorial Board of Frontiers of Neuroenergetics and NeuroImage. His scientific interests
include: High-Field fMRI, Measuring cerebral blood flow using arterial spin labeling MRI in
healthy subjects and stroke patients, Multi-modal imaging (simultaneous PET-MRI, EEG-MRI)
and Physical and physiological basis of fMRI.
6.Ivan Bodis-Wollner, MD
Dr. Bodis-Wollner works as a neurologist in Brooklyn, New York and Professor of Neurology and
Ophthalmology at the SUNY Downstate Medical School. His main area of work of research is
Parkinson's disease and in 1995, his clinic received distinguishment as a Parkinson's Disease
Center of Excellence from the National Parkinson Foundation. As well as being the president of
the EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society (ECNS), he has also done much research.There are
several studies in over 100 journals published with Dr. Bodis-Wollner's name, they include:
Nature, Science, the Journal of Physiology, Brain and Annals of Neurology.
7.Silvana Galderisi, MD, PhD
Born in Naples, Italy in Dr. Galderisi obtained her medical degree as title of specialist in
Psychiatry and her doctoral degree in Neuroscience at the University of Naples. Now she works
as director of the Emergency Unit of the Department of Mental Health at the University of Naples
SUN and continues to teach at the Psychiatry Training School of the same University as
Professor. Some of her latest research areas include: pathophysiology of anhedonia as nuclear
aspect of schizophrenia, clinical and neurobiological characterization of the deficit syndrome,
neurocognitive impairment in psychiatric disorders and neurocognitive rehabilitation programs
for psychotic patients.
8.Nashaat N. Boutros, MD
Beginning his education in the year 1974 at the Cairo University School of Medicine Dr. Boutros
moved onto the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute in Chicago to complete his residency in
Psychiatry. In 2005 he became professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at Wayne State
University School of Medicine and Associate-Chair for Research at the Department of
Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne University School of Medicine where he still
continues to practice and teach. He is currently the Associate-Chair for Research in the
Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne State University School of
medicine. His research areas include: schizophrenia, sensory-gating and electrophysiology.

9.David Hartford Avery, MD
Born in the year 1946 in the state of Indiana Dr. Avery completed his BA degree in Chemistry at
Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Then he continued onto the Washington University
School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri where he then completed his degree in Medicine. He is
currently working as the Attending Psychiatrist and Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at the
Harborview Medical Center and teaching as Professor in 1999 at University of Washington
School of Medicine. Research areas he is busy with include: electroconvulsive therapy,
alcoholism and neuropsychopharmacology.
10.Mark George
Dr. George practices psychiatry at his medical office located in the state of South Carolina, USA.
He is certified to practice psychiatry and neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and
Neurology. Since the year 1997, he has been teaching as tenured professor in the Departments
of Psychiatry, Neurology and Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina and in 2000
he was named University Distinguished Professor. Having over 200 published articles, Dr.
George's areas of research include: functional imaging techniques of the human brain, new
treatment for resistant depression and vagus nerve stimulation.

* Firmalara ait promosyon malzemeleri, Originemc Turizm deposunda firmalar için ayrýlan yerlerde saklanacaktýr. Originemc
Turizm stant alanlarýnda oluþacak kayýp, çalýntý vb. durumlarda sorumluluk kabul etmeyecektir.
* Konferans merkezine dýþarýdan yiyecek ve içecek sokulmasý yasaktýr. Sokulmasý durumunda otelin belirleyeceði ücret
uygulanacaktýr
* Konferans merkezinin duvarlarýna herhangi birþey asýlmasý, yapýþtýrýlmasý yasak olup, aksi durumda meydana gelecek zararlar ile
ilgili olarak, firma kongre merkezine direkt sorumlu kabul edilecektir. Asýlacak materyallerin Originemc Turizm tarafýndan temin
edilecek panolara asýlmasý rica olunur.

GÜVENLÝK
Konferans sonuna kadar malzemelerinin korunmasý Originemc Turizm tarafýndan saðlanacaktýr. Bu durum, Originemc Turizmi
herhangi bir sorumluluk altýna sokmayacaktýr. Kayýp, çalýntý, hasar vb. durumlar için firmalarýn malzemelerini sigortalatmasý önerilir.
