The largest and most comprehensive IEEE Event in India
for the 45,000 IEEE members in India
A 3-day Conference as well as a meeting of the IEEE
Community and of India Council/Sections
Jointly organized by India Council with one of the Sections
Usually attended by IEEE Global and Regional leadership
(and those of Technical Societies)

Indicon 2011 was held at Hyderabad in December 2011
About 450 delegates participated in the Conference
Totally 320 invited presentations, workshops, tutorials,
panels and papers, in addition to inaugural and valedictory
sessions

Indicon 2012 is scheduled for 2-4 December 2012, in the
city of Kochi (Cochin) in Kerala
Venue for the event is Rajagiri School of Engineering and
Technology, one of the most prominent technical schools in
the area
The overall theme of the Conference is Innovations in
Social and Humanitarian Engineering

Section before)
Fast growing section, noted for professional, student and
humanitarian activities
Although geographically one of the smallest sections in
India, Kerala Section has two subsections (Malabar and
Kochi)
