Thabazimbi - An amount of R25 million was invested in the brand new Pick n Pay now situated
in Thaba Mall.
At the pre-opening event held on Wednesday 25 March, Gerhard Dreyer, one of the owners of Pick

air conditioning system to keep produce fresh and clients happy and the enormous generator to
ensure that load shedding will not affect Pick ‘n Pay shoppers.
The guests were treated to a cheese and wine buffet whilst four cooks from the community, using products from within Pick n Pay, competed in a cook-off. Four judges, including well known
guesthouse owners, judged the contestants’ dishes to name the best chef - Christo from Kaya Kwa Gerhard Dreyer (Pick ‘n Pay Thabazimbi owner), Hennie Theron (Pick ‘n Pay Thabazimbi
owner), Patrick Kgengwenyane (GM Franchise), Scholtz Herbst (GM Franchise) and
Restaurant.

was slegs tydelik omdat hulle reeds geweet het ‘n groot winkelsentrum word
beplan. Hulle wou ook die gemeenskap toets rondom die gevoel teenoor
Nedbank.
Nedbank Thabazimbi-tak spog met die nuutste banktegnologie: videobank,
internetbank, twee iPad’s in die wagkamer en ‘n Q-matic stelsel waar die
kliënt in die bank kom. Dié stelsel voorsien die kliënt van ‘n dienskaartjie wat
toon by watter afdeling die kliënt gehelp sal word. Die kliënt kan dus rustig
in die wagkamer sit totdat sy nommer op die TV-skerm vertoon word. Geen
toustanery nie.

Although the team worked long hours to complete the store in time
for the opening, they were all smiles on Thursday morning. “We can’t
wait to assist our customers,” one of the cashiers told Platinum Bushvelder.
West Pack Lifestyle will cater and appeal to the mass market. “Our
point of difference is that we stock a variety and huge range of household products including glassware, plasticware, stationary, pet care
and packaging as well as non-perishable type food products.”
