I think most breeders leave home with boars they like. Sometimes, the public does not see the same
things, and then you have to reevaluate. I felt his boar could offer some needed things to the breed
without having that huge butt. The acceptance of this boar was overwhelming, for what he had to offer.
When we unloaded the boar at Louisville, Chuck Olsen was helping me, as usual. About half way to the
pens he said, “This boar has great rear legs, and can he move.” He is a strong-pasterned, clean-fronted
boar I hope will be used on many Yorkshire sows. Thank you, Randy.
