carne. Il perdono, che Gesù offre alla donna
peccatrice, è un atto di misericordia gratuita, che
una creatura non può meritare, ma sempre
chiedere. Il perdono accolto ci fa vivere meglio con i
fratelli.
Festa di Sant’Antonio da Padova:
Lunedì 13 Giugno. Ricordiamo ai devoti
del Santo di provvedere il Pane di
Sant’Antonio che sarà benedetto dopo la
Messa e distribuito ai presenti.
Celebriamo lieti questo grande santo, la sua vita e i
suoi insegnamenti.
Raduno del comitato per Dia Alegre: Sarà il
martedì 14 giugno. Questa è una amabile invitazione
per progettare la festa dei populi e la nostra ricca
diversità culturale.
Domenica Prossima è la “Domenica per la Vita”.
Oltre a pregare perché la vita sia rispettata fin dalla
concezione, siamo anche invitati a contribuire con
una seconda colletta domenica prossima per
sostenere le agenzie impegnate nella difesa della
vita.
Project Advance: Ogni anno tanti hanno una
sperienza viva del Cristo Risorto per mezzo dei
programmi e servizi di PA. La nostra parrocchia
anche si beneficia direttamente. Dio ci chiama a
condividere quello che abbiamo nell’aiuto e nella
carità.
Numerose famiglie non hanno ancora fatto la loro
donazione e sono incoraggiate a farlo. Ogni dollaro
conta!
L’Annuale Dia Alegre = Festival dei Popoli sarà il
1 Agosto, BC Day. Ci sará una prima riunione del
comitato organizzatore Martedí 14 Giugno alle
7:00pm nella saletta della rettoria. Interessato ad far
parte nell’organizzare? Vieni alla riunione.
Le foto della Prima Comunione e Cresima sono
pronte e si prega di ritirarle presso l’ufficio
parrocchiale durante la settimana dalle 9:00 am alle
5:00 pm.

Announcements
During his public life Jesus not only forgave
sins, but also made plain the effect of his
forgiveness: he reintegrated forgiven sinners into
the community of the People of God from which sin
had alienated or even excluded them. A
remarkable sign of this is the fact that Jesus
receives sinners at his table, a gesture that
expresses in an astonishing way both God’s
forgiveness and the return to the bosom of the
People of God.
The Feast of St. Anthony is on
Monday, June 13th. We remind the
devotees of St. Anthony to bring the
bread to be blessed, distributed and
shared at the Masses. Let us
celebrate this great saint’s life and teachings!
Día Alegre Meeting will be on Tuesday, June 14th
at 7:00 pm in the rectory room. This is a warm
invitation to be part of the organizing committee and
to start planning this great Parish event.
“Pro Life Sunday” is next Sunday, June 19. Let us
pray that life may be respected from conception to
its natural death. A second collection will be taken
up next Sunday to fund Pro-Life organizations, antieuthanasia groups, crisis pregnancies centers, etc.
BIRTHRIGHT VANCOUVER WALK/RUN DAY:
Every year Birthright Vancouver, a downtown crisis
pregnancy service, hosts a Walk/Run fundraiser. It's
a fun way to support an important ministry in our
archdiocese. This year, the Walk/Run will start at
Holy Name of Jesus Parish, Vancouver, and go
around Queen Elizabeth Park. After this scenic
adventure, music, refreshments and prizes will
follow back at the parish. We hope you can join us
for this event! on Sat, June 25th, from 10:00 am 1:00 pm.
Project Advance: Each year, thousands of
people experience the Risen Lord through the
programs and services supported by PA. Our own
parish benefits in many ways. God calls us to share
what we have to help others.
We are missing 114 donors —compared to
donations received until June! Please plan to give
your gift to PA today.
 DIA ALEGRE = FESTIVAL OF NATIONS will be held
on BC Day, August 1 —a fun day, a cultural feast to
celebrate our gifts and values, our diversity, the
many cultures that make up our Parish Family.
The First Communion & Confirmation Photos are
now ready and may be picked up at the parish office
between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
 The Universality of the Church is a natural
consequence of the descent of the Holy Spirit on the
Apostles

Fiesta de San Antonio: será el lunes 13 de junio.
Recordamos a los devotos de Sn Antonio de traer pan
para bendecirlo, distribuirlo y compartir al terminar la misa.
Celebremos la vida y las enseñanzas de este gran santo!
Encuentro del Día Alegre: será el martes 14 de junio a
las 7:00 pm en el salón de la rectoría. Es una cordial
invitación para ser parte del comité organizador y para
comenzar la planeación.
Domingo Pro-Vida es el próximo domingo 19 de junio.
Oremos para que la vida sea respetada desde la
concepción hasta su fin natural. Habrá una segunda
colecta en apoyo a las organizaciones Pro-Vida.
Caminata: Cada año Birthright Vancouver, una oficina
de servicio al embarazo en crisis, recauda fondos por
medio de una caminata-carrera. Es una forma divertida de
apoyar este ministerio. Este año, la caminata comenzará
en la Parroquia Holy Name of Jesus y recorrerá el parque
Queen Elizabeth. De regreso a la parroquia habrá música,
pasabocas y premios. Los esperamos: es el sáb 25 de
junio de 10 a 1 pm.
