Summer School in
Denmark
Department of Clinical Epidemiology is hosting its second annual summer school.
A week-long course titled Assessing risks and benefits of treatments:
methodological issues is a collection of master classes taught by international
experts in pharmacoepidemiology and comparative effectiveness.
The summer school will be held at the
Hotel Ebeltoft Strand in the vicinity
of Aarhus, Denmark. The course
venue is accessible by air, ferry, and
train. The nearest airports are Aarhus
(AAR), Billund (BLL) and Copenhagen
(CPH).

11,400 (Early Bird offer DKK 10,000).

- Course dinner on Wednesday
* Participants will stay in shared luxury apartments with
a person of the same sex. All apartments have private
bedrooms, shared living room and fully-equipped
kitchen, and a balcony/deck with ocean view. A few
single rooms are available (first come, first served).
Apartments are available from Sunday 14 June.

Area and social activities
The historic town of Ebeltoft is within short walking
distance of the venue. With its idyllic timber-framed
buildings, cobblestone streets, small shops and
restaurants, Ebeltoft has small-town charm and is wellvisited during the summer. The sea side and “Fregatten
Jylland” – the world’s longest wooden ship – are just a
stone’s throw from the hotel.
The summer school offers a social and cultural program
during the course.
