Our vision of a true full-face mask
The insiders’ point of view
After years of waking up every hour with an acute
pain on the bridge of my nose, living with painful
facial sores and trying to disguise red marks on my
face before going to the office, I finally found
FitLife. It fits perfectly and its comfortable silicone
membrane prevents leaks without overtightening.
Not only can I see, it makes me feel free!
Life is good again!

I use a FitLife mask and I like it. Since I started
using it, I haven’t had any sores on the bridge
of my nose and have had no leaks. For me it
works great. I’ve tried two other brands, one
leaked and the other left my nose sore.
I find the FitLife mask comfortable,
it works for me!

Philips Respironics FitLife mask - the positive full-face experience
The full-face challenge today

Common reasons for non-adherence to therapy include pressure intolerance and issues related to

there are less pressure sensitivity points and smoother facial contours. Fitlife is a full-face mask that
eliminates common nose-bridge sores and provides a positive patient experience with superb
pressure distribution and a clear line of vision.
Common mask challenges
FitLife mask solutions
1
1
Mouth leak and high-pressure management
Mouth leak occurs in approximately 40% of CPAP and most
bi-level users.2-4 The result is loss of therapy effectiveness,
comfort, and disrupted sleep,5 which can lead to reduced
adherence and the discontinuation of treatment.
2
Claustrophobia and acceptance
Patients’ acceptance to therapy can be challenged by the first
impression of their equipment. The mask is vital to successful
treatment, however it can often appear obtrusive to the patient.
3
Low pressure > medium pressure > high pressure
2
FitLife, the only mask that offers a wide, full-vision
screen and a lightweight body for maximum visibility
and increased comfort.
Patients simply forget they are wearing a mask!
3
Facial discomfort and skin injury
Using a conventional full-face mask is currently the accepted
solution for patients who breathe through their mouth whilst
sleeping. Patients using this type of interface may experience
problems such as facial marking, pressure sores, discomfort,
air leaks and claustrophobia.6-7
Pressure Mapping
FitLife’s full-face shape helps to establish rapidly an
effective seal around the patient’s face, even under
high pressure.
In addition, its unique design provides optimum pressure
distribution for maximum comfort.
FitLife is designed to fit around the less pressuresensitive perimeters of the face, thus reducing facial marks
and potential skin sores.
Furthermore, it eliminates stress on the bridge of the
nose which is one of the most common patient complaints.
Red marks, injuries, and pressure sore development
