projects.

This group will be led by several Earth enthusiasts: the Education staff of
the Bergen County Zoo, Zoo Docents (including an amateur bird watcher),
and guest speakers. The group is intended to bring out the scientist in us
all.
This free program does not require pre-registration and is for nature
lovers of all ages who either live in Bergen County or are Members of the
Bergen County Zoo. To join the group simply show up at the Bergen
County Zoo gate at 6:30 pm on the second Wednesday of the month
(see schedule). Members of the club will be asked
to leave contact information so club information
may be sent, this information will not be shared
with any third parties. Members do not need to
attend all meetings and can be removed from the
Bergen County Zoo Membership Roster at anytime upon request.
Membership in this club does not constitute membership to the Bergen County Zoo in any way.
The group will meet at the Bergen County Zoo entrance gate and will
either enter the zoo and meet in the Education Center or journey into the
park. Group meetings will end at the Bergen County Zoo entrance gate at
approximately 7:30. Some trips may be scheduled at other times to areas
within Bergen County.
Our first meeting will include a walk, please dress for the weather and
bring binoculars and anything else you may need for a 45 minute walk.
Not all meetings will include walking in Van Saun Park. Most important,
bring your curiosity about nature and a willingness to get involved!
