the decedent, a check mark symbol will be
noted to the left of the account’s name. If no
account was found, a void symbol will be
noted to the left of the account’s name.
Lastly, if it is possible that the decedent had
an account with these companies but we were
unable to confirm this, you will find a question
mark symbol noted to the left of the account’s

Accessing a Deceased Member’s G-Mail Content:
-Mail or Fax Google the following information:
*Your Information
*The G-Mail Address of the decedent
*A Copy of the death certificate
*A copy of an e-mail sent to you from the decedent that includes the full header of the e-mail message and the
entire content of the message
-Note that by submitting these materials Google will not guarantee that they will be able to provide you the decedent’s
G-Mail contents. The application to obtain e-mail content is a lengthy process with multiple waiting periods.
-After mailing or faxing the above materials Google will notify you if you have been approved to move on to the next
part of the application process. The next steps will include you providing additional legal documentation such as a U.S.
court order and additional materials. Google will provide you with detailed instructions if you have been approved to
move on to the next step of the process. Please note that the application process can take months to complete and
during this process Google will not delete the decedent’s account before responding to your request.
-If you have not been approved to proceed to the next steps in Google’s application process, they will not be able to
share any further details about the account or discuss their decision.

Transferring the AAdvantage Points to the Beneficiary’s Account:
-E-mail American Airlines that you would like to transfer the AAdvantage points from the deceased users account to the
beneficiary’s account and you will need to provide the following:
*Account number of the deceased member

*Completed affidavit for transfer form
*Copy of the death Certificate

Transferring the True Blue points to the Beneficiary’s Account:
-Call JetBlue and let them know that you would like to take over the deceased member’s True Blue account. You will need
to provide them with the following:
*E-mail address of the deceased member
*E-mail address of the beneficiary
-Jet Blue will then change the e-mail address on the deceased member’s account to the e-mail address of the beneficiary
over the phone.
-Once the E-mail address is changed in the account, an e-mail will be sent to the beneficiary with information on how to
complete a “Member Profile Change”.
-The Beneficiary will then take over the account rather than starting a new one.

Transferring the Mileage Plus Points to the Beneficiary’s Account:
-You will need to fill out the Mileage Plus Transfer Release Form and sent it back to United by following the instructions
on the form.
-There is a $150.00 transfer fee, to transfer points from a deceased member’s Mileage Plus account to a beneficiary’s
account.

-To decide whether you would like the deceased member’s Facebook account removed or ‘memorialized’.

-If you are an immediate family member or the executor of the decedent’s estate and you would like to request that
Facebook remove the decedent’s account, you can complete the “Special Request for Deceased Person's Account” form

Memorializing a Deceased Member’s Facebook Account:
-In order to protect the privacy of the deceased member, Facebook cannot provide login information for the account.
However, once the account has been memorialized, they will take measures to secure the account

Removing or Preserving a Deceased Member’s Myspace Account without the Username and Password:
-E-Mail Myspace from your personal e-mail account that you would like to remove or preserve a deceased member’s

*The deceased member’s Myspace ID (usually their e-mail address)
*A specific request to either: delete the account, preserve the profile or remove the content

1. On the left hand side of the screen, after you have logged in to the deceased user’s account, you will need to
select the ‘Settings’ option.
2. Select the option ‘Profile’ under ‘Settings’
3. At the bottom of the screen on the right side of the menu, you will need to select “Delete Account”.
4. You will then be asked if you are sure you would like to delete the account. You will need to select “Delete
Account” again

Removing a Decease Member’s Pinterest Account with the Username and Password:
-Login to the deceased member’s account by visiting: www.pinterest.com:
1. Click on the deceased member’s user name in the upper right corner of the page
2. In the drop down menu, you will need to select ‘Settings’
3. Scroll to the very bottom of the ‘Settings’ page and select ‘Deactivate Account’
4. A screen will then pop up asking if you are sure you want to deactivate the account, you will need to select
‘Deactivate Account’ again.

-Fax or Mail Shutterfly that you would like to either access or cancel a deceased member’s account and include the
following information:
*Your full name and contact information, including a verifiable e-mail address
*The e-mail address associated with the deceased member’s Shutterfly account
*Copy of the death certificate
*Copy of the document that gives you Power of Attorney over the estate of the deceased OR if the
deceased member was under 18 and you are the parent of the individual: a copy of the birth certificate.
Accessing or Canceling a Deceased Member’s Shutterfly Account with the Username and Password:
-You can access a deceased member’s photographs by logging in to their account by visiting: www.shutterfly.com.
*You will then have access to the deceased member’s albums and photographs, where it is suggested
that you save them to your computer and later archive them on a disc or flash drive.
-Even with a username and password you will need to contact Shutterfly to have the account closed (see above).

Transferring of a Deceased Member’s Expedia Rewards Account to the Beneficiary:
-Log on to Expedia by visiting:
https://www.expedia.com/user/login?&selc=0&uurl=qscr%3Dredr%26rurl%3D%2Fuser/expediarewards
-Use the instructions that were e-mailed to the beneficiary from Expedia to change the member profile to the
beneficiary’s information

*Once the account is confirmed, they will send an e-mail to beneficiary with instructions on how
to logon and change the member profile
Transferring of a Deceased Member’s Welcome Rewards Account to the Beneficiary:

Once public records confirm that the account holder is deceased (could take a few weeks), the account will
