Introduction
ON MORE NORTH AMERICAN FARMS THAN ANY OTHER SPRAYER IN ITS CLASS
LIGHTEST Footprint
Bigger is not always better. If you’re tired of rutting up your fields
or waiting for them to dry out so you won’t get bogged down, the
SpraCoupe 4000 Series is the only way to go.
Welcome to the convenience of the SpraCoupe 4000 Series. No more
hitching and unhitching. No more muscling equipment around. No
more looking behind you to make sure you’re not running over your
crops. Just get in and go to work — it’s as simple as that.
OUTSTANDING Fuel Economy
As little as 2 to 2-1/2 gallons an hour — even when you’re running
wide open.
About 30% of our customers are first-time purchasers. When they
discover how reliable, easy to operate and productive SpraCoupe is,
they’re customers for life. Ask your dealer for a demonstration and see
for yourself.
VERSATILE Axle Options
Regardless of the crop — cotton, grain, specialty — SpraCoupe has you
covered with two axle options featuring hydraulic rear adjustment and
two clearance heights.

Tightest Turning Radius in its Class
Minimal Impact
spracoupe
competition
SpraCoupe’s compact size
and easy footprint produce
significantly less compaction,
even when fully loaded.
And regardless of ground
conditions, you can get into
your fields far earlier and out
of your fields far faster without
destroying soil structure.
Tight turns and less soil
compaction mean that you’ll
be saving time and fuel.
5
Maneuverability
Fast-In, Fast-Out Field Performance
Big is not always good. Sure, big has its place. But
when you need finesse and agility, are you willing to
bully your way through a field, compacting your soil
and running down crops when you turn? When
it comes to getting in and out of the field in minimal
time with minimal damage, the SpraCoupe 4000
Series delivers.
A
D
B
The 80 Percent Rule
Eighty percent of compaction happens on the first pass.
The key to minimizing compaction is weight and the right
suspension system. At just under 10,000 pounds (4,436 kg), the
SpraCoupe 4000 Series is light enough to be nimble, yet heavy
enough to stand up to the rigors of a 5,000-acre operation.
The front wheels have center oscillation with independent
struts and spring suspension, while the rear wheels are
equipped with trailing leg, swing-type coil springs and shock
absorbers. Together, they maintain parallel movement to
keep you on track over rough terrain. You get a smooth and
comfortable ride and there is less stress on the components,
reducing maintenance costs.

Tight Turning Radius Saves Time and Fuel
And with a 13.8-ft. (4.2 m) turning radius (left), the SpraCoupe
4000 Series remains unmatched in its class. That means you’ll
be saving time and fuel, plus you’ll require less headland for
your turns and incur less crop damage.

The Engine that Delivers with
Fuel-Sipping Efficiency
Sure, the SpraCoupe 4000 Series has the easiest footprint in
the industry. But in the end, a critical reason you’re going to
consider buying one is its reliability and fuel efficiency.
Our customers tell us their SpraCoupe 4000 Series is as
reliable and productive as any sprayer out there — including
1,200-gallon machines. Many put 600 to 900 hours a year on
their 4000, covering as much as 30,000 acres.

Choose Your Transmission
The SpraCoupe 4000 Series is driven by a 125-hp, 4.4L Perkins
1104D turbocharged and charge-air-cooled diesel engine.
This workhorse of an engine runs clean and delivers an
incredible 366 ft-lbs. peak torque to power you through
tough field conditions.
It’s your choice: Manual or automatic transmission. Either way,
you’ll be getting a power delivery system that’s simple, efficient
and well tested.
Outstanding Fuel Efficiency
• The Allison RDS 2100, 5-speed automatic takes the fatigue
out of shifting and lets you focus on field conditions and
application details. The torque converter ensures constant
engine power while delivering the most effective power to-ground transfer.
The other half of the engine story is fuel efficiency. You’ll burn
as little as 2 to 2 ½ gallons per hour, so you’ll be able to work a
16-hour day on one 44-gallon tank of fuel.
Big-Deal Fuel Economy*
• The TREMEC T-5 World Class, 5-speed manual transmission
delivers plenty of power in every gear.
Mechanical 2-Wheel Drive

hours
Unlike hydrostatic drive systems with power requirements of
their own, SpraCoupe’s mechanical 2-wheel drive channels
more power directly to the drive wheels. Heavy-duty chain
drives are engineered into
the wheel legs themselves,
which provides additional
durability and stability
to SpraCoupe’s highprofile structure.

Clearly Easy to Operate
Climb into SpraCoupe’s cab and the first thing you’ll notice is the unobstructed visibility
in all directions. The large front window and sloping hood design give you a clear view
whether you’re in the field or on the road. Large rear and side windows make it easy to
visually check spray systems as well as simplify backing and turning in tight quarters.
Notice, too, the cab’s ergonomics: quiet operation, an air filtration system, air
conditioning and a clean, clutter-free cockpit. A centered seat, adjustable steering
column and logically arranged instrumentation simplify your job and reduce fatigue.
Joystick and Boom Control
Mechanical Gauge
The joystick offers convenient right-hand
thumb control of all frequently used spray
functions including:
The mechanical gauge is located
conveniently in your central field of vision
to monitor product manifold pressure
while spraying. It provides a constant,
highly accurate indication of system
performance, whereas electric gauges rely
on sensors and translation hardware that
may fall out of calibration, resulting in
inaccurate readings.
•Spray master apply on/off
•Foam marker on/off, left/right
•Boom height
•Left and right boom tilt
•Boom fold
The adjacent right-hand panel offers
control of less-used functions:
•Engine throttle/cruise control
•Hydraulic rear track width adjustment
•Individual boom section on/off
•Transmission control, gear selection
A reading other than expected indicates
application problems resulting from
constrictions to, or leakage of, plumbing,
filters and nozzles — all conditions
that could cause uneven application of
product to the field.
Air Ride Seat
Ladder
The adjustable air ride seat makes the
going a whole lot better with adjustable/
tiltable armrests, fore/aft adjustment,
back tilt and lumbar adjustment. A
dampened isolator absorbs fore and
aft shock.
The rear-pivoting, swing-up ladder
provides easy access to the cab and
operator platform and tucks out of the
way during operation.

Bullseye Spraying Accuracy
Here’s another reason you’ll find the SpraCoupe 4000 Series on more farms in North America than any other: For 50 years, this
machine has been the benchmark for tip-to-target control and accuracy. You get sure, dependable accuracy with a maximum of
+/- 1 psi variance per nozzle at rates as low as 2 gpm (7.6 L/min.) to as high as 45 gpm (170.3 L/min.) through standard plumbing
from the Hypro® centrifugal pump. A multiple filter system minimizes nozzle clogging to ensure consistent, accurate application.
It also reduces nozzle wear, resulting in lower maintenance costs.

valves to ensure proper upper and lower agitation, while
in-cab switching keeps products in optimal suspension.
Precision Delivery
Set your application rate and the RavenTM SCS 460
sprayer controller automatically maintains that rate over
the field, regardless of changes in speed and terrain.
The console features:
• Multiple-section boom control
• Two programmable application rates
• Readouts for speed, volume applied, field area
and distance traveled
• 10-year non-volatile memory that stores
programmed information
