West Community Credit Union is sponsoring free educational
seminars this spring to help people who want to finance a college
education. Wednesday, May 11 at 6 p.m. at the Kirkwood Community
Center (111 S. Geyer Road). West Community has partnered with the
St. Louis Chapter of Credit Unions to offer comprehensive information
about ways to prepare for the cost of a college education.

Kids Going Hungry … Help!
Summer months have always been a challenge for local food
pantries. The demand for emergency food increases when school is
out and unfortunately the supply of donated food decreases. That
combination always leaves the potential of empty shelves in our local
food pantries. With more of our neighbors needing food assistance,
empty shelves equate to hungry children. Nobody chooses to be
hungry, especially a child.
To prepare for the summer months and help local food pantries
fill their shelves in advance, we are asking local businesses,
organizations and churches to conduct a food drive during the months
of April and May. Please consider conducting a non-perishable food
collection or a “Peanut Butter and Jelly” drive.

Collection barrels and posters will be provided at the start of your
drive. At the conclusion, donated food will be picked up from your
location and delivered to local food pantries.

Alzheimer’s Associations 2nd Annual Golf
Classic “A Round to Remember”
