CENTER HISTORY
Sun National Bank Center is a sixteen (16) year old, $53 million multipurpose facility. The Center
opened its doors to the public for the first time on October 6th, 1999 with the World Wrestling
Federation. Since opening, the Arena has hosted over 2,200 events with over 6,700,000 guests
attending and has Sold Out such shows as Cher, Bruce Springsteen (2 shows), Carrie Underwood,
Jeff Dunham, Theresa Caputo Live!, Shania Twain, Lord of the Dance, Luciano Pavarotti,
Champions on Ice, Barney’s Musical Castle, WWE Smackdown, The Harlem Globetrotters,
Target/Smucker’s Stars On Ice, Creed, Elton John, 98 Degrees, Matchbox 20, Tool, Ringling Bros.
and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and The 2004-2005 Kelly Cup Champion Trenton Titan ECHL Hockey
Games.
The Center seats 8,100 for hockey and other ice events, 9,500 for basketball, and up to 10,000 for
concerts, family shows, and other events. The facility has 1,150 private club seats as well as 34
private luxury suites and is the largest arena in Central New Jersey. The Sun National Bank Center
was designed and built to exceed all ADA specifications to accommodate our guests with
disabilities. Located in Mercer County, the Center draws on a captive audience of over seven
million people within a 40-mile radius. Sun National Bank Center is part of the number one ranked
ADI in the country.
Sun National Bank Center is host to many events including hockey, basketball, concerts, ice
shows, athletic events, family shows, trade shows, and conventions.
Parking
The Sun National Bank Center has over 2,700 parking spaces within walking distance of the
Center. A parking map is available below on page 18.

Location
Sun National Bank Center is located in Trenton, New Jersey at South Broad Street, Hamilton
Avenue, and Route 129. It is strategically located approximately one hour from New York City
and forty-five minutes from Philadelphia. It is easily accessible by Highways 129, 195, 295, RT.1
and the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Turnpikes.
LOGISTICAL INFORMATION
Catering Room
A catering room approximately 25' x 45' with access to a
sink is available for show use.
Dressing Rooms
There are five (5) dressing rooms approximately 20' x 20'
and (3) dressing rooms approximately 10' x 10' available
for show use. All rooms are located behind stage and
have shower and restroom facilities.

Emergency Equipment
Fire sprinklers, smoke sensors, and fire extinguishers are located throughout the center and office
areas. An emergency generator will provide backup house emergency sound and light power
in case of a power failure.
Features for Guests with Disabilities
All entrances to the concourse level of the center are wheelchair accessible.
Designated disabled parking is conveniently located at the Center main entrance.
Elevators are available inside the center to provide access between levels. Disabled
seating is available at various locations around the center inner concourse. The center
is equipped with an in-house listening device system for the hearing impaired which
guests can obtain from our Guest Services Office located at Gate A on the main
concourse.
Floor(s)
In a hockey configuration, the Center floor is 85' x 200' with full ice making capabilities. The area
of the floor is approximately 17,000 square feet. The total surface area of the arena floor (hockey
surface as well the area behind the dasher boards) with retractable seating pushed in is 246' x
132' and 32,472 square feet. The floor load is 250 pounds per square foot. A Robbins portable
basketball floor 60' x 112' is available as well as an ice deck to cover the ice.
Forklifts
The Center owns two (2) 5,000 lb. forklifts that are available for rent. They are propane fueled,
have a lift height of 17' and are equipped with side shift. Fork length is 4' (6' with extensions).
Intercom
Sun National Bank Center has an in-house TELEX headset communication
system with fourteen (14) stations that include house lights, control room,
camera positions, and spotlights. Our intercom system is compatible with
Clear-Com and RTS systems.
Lighting
The house light controls are located in the sound room on the press level. Event lights
consist of 1,000-watt metal halide lights. Each fixture can be individually controlled.
Maximum lighting for events is 150 vertical foot- candles and 250 horizontal footcandles.
Load-In
Show load-in is located at the Southeast End of the center, approximately 75' from the center
floor. There are three (3) loading docks with levelers and two (2) drive-in doors. There is
adequate parking for ten (10) buses or trucks outside the load-in area. There is a small-protected
lot, just across the street from the Center for storage of extra trailers, if needed.

Locks and Keys
Locker/dressing rooms may be secured with locks and keys. Keys for each room may be
checked out through the Event Manager. All persons who sign out keys will be responsible for
return of the keys at the conclusion of the event.
Production Office
A Production Office is available at the southeast end of the event level. The Production Office is
equipped with five permanent telephone lines.
Pyro
A State of New Jersey pyro permit is required for any pyrotechnics used in
the building or anywhere on the premises. There will be a designated room
used for storing pyro. The arena will supply fire extinguishers at the show's
expense. Please contact the State of NJ Dept of Fire Safety at (609) 6336132 for permit filing and information.
Rigging
Distance from center floor to facility ceiling is 70'. Distance from floor to the low steel is 52'. Total
rigging weight for 64' x 48' end stage configuration is 120,000 lbs. and for a 40' x 40' center stage
configuration is 90,000 lbs. Center rigging plans are available from the Operations Office (609)
656-3230. All rigging plans, including the weight of each point must be submitted to and
approved by Management prior to load in.
Runners
The Center can provide runners upon request. Rates vary and are payable by the show. Our
runners come with a standard passenger car. If you have any additional requirements, please let
us know in advance and we can rent at your cost. Contact our events department at (609) 6563209 for more information.
Scoreboard
The Center has a center-hung scoreboard with four sides, each are 10mm high-definition and are
8’6” in height and 14’6” in width. The board also has a circular LED ribbon that hangs beneath it.
The ribbon is the most versatile part of the board, and can be used for additional advertisements
and animated graphics.
The Center also has two end-zone advertisement boards. These boards are 4’ in height and 8’ in
width, with 23mm LED display on each side of the scoring equipment.
Seating
General fixed seating is made up of Irwin chairs with plastic molded backs and bottoms. Club
Level and Suite Level seating consists of Irwin “theater style chairs” with cushioned backs and
bottoms. Disabled seating is located at various locations throughout the Center. Portable chairs
are upholstered and interlocking for use on the center floor (total depends on event set-up)
The seats in the first 8 rows in the lower bowl are
retractable. We have the ability to remove the
Elephant Door at the East (Load-In) End.

Seating Risers
Stage and mixer decks can also be used for seating risers that can accommodate up to 500
guests for basketball and special event set-ups. Height can vary from 4" to 12".
Sound System
Sun National Bank Center house sound system provides a full range of high power sound to all
seats in the arena. The system is made up of custom, full range, sound clusters suspended from
the center roof. There is a dual cassette deck, single compact disc player, mixing board,
microphone, wireless microphone, and a clear com (split channel). The sound control room is
located at press level above section 208. The center is also equipped with an in-house listening
device system for the hearing impaired.
Spotlights
Sun National Bank Center has six (6) Lycion spotlights (2,000 watt). All
spotlights are located on the catwalk around the perimeter of the center, but
can be moved upon show request. Additional spotlights can be rented at
the show’s request.
Staging
Sun National Bank Center has a Stage Right portable stage. It will accommodate a 64' x 48' or 80'
x 40' main stage. The height of the stage can vary from 4' to 6'6" in 2" increments. Accessories
include an ADA accessible ramp, stairs, guardrails, skirting and loading ramp.
Telephones
Telephones can be installed in any of the dressing/locker rooms or other center
locations. Costing, ordering and placement can be done by contacting an event
manager.
Television/Video System
Sun National Bank Center is equipped with an in-house TV / video system that includes cameras,
four 8’ x 14' center-hung 10mm high-definition scoreboard, a 3’ x 58’ ring beneath the
scoreboard, two 4’ x 8’ video boards in the end-zones, 50 TV monitors and full video production
and editing capabilities.
RENTAL RATES AND CONDITIONS
Equipment and Service Rates
Sun National Bank Center provides a full-range of event equipment and personnel including
ushers, ticket-takers, security, stagehands, cleaning, operations and technical support. Rental
rates are dependent upon contract terms.

Deposit Requirements and Procedures
A deposit is required as consideration in order to secure a date at the Center. This amount is due
upon execution of the contract or whenever another potential user challenges a date. In case
of multiple events, Sun National Bank Center will hold the deposit as a floating deposit unless
those dates are challenged, in which case the promoter must provide the additional deposit for
each challenged date. Sun National Bank Center Management reserves the right to require an
additional sum in advance as a damage deposit, which is refundable after the event is settled
and when a check of the facility is completed. Management further reserves the right to require
a deposit to cover all estimated expenses, including but not limited to: rent, ticketing fees, set-up,
staffing, damages, advertising, electrical services and miscellaneous equipment.
Box Office/Ticketing
Sun National Bank Center is affiliated with ComcastTIX. Tickets to Center events are available at
the Center Box Office, by phone at 800-298-4200, and online through the internet at
www.ComcastTIX.com. The Sun National Bank Center’s normal Box Office hours will be Monday
through Friday 10 AM - 5 PM, Saturday 12 PM - 4 PM and open Sunday on days of events.

Food and Beverage
All food, beverage, and concessions are operated and controlled by Spectra’s
Food Services & Hospitality (formerly Ovations Food Services). Together with Sun
National Bank Center, Spectra’s Food Services & Hospitality will determine the
number of stands required to properly serve the public. All arrangements for
catering, and food and beverages service should be made through Spectra’s
Food Services & Hospitality at (609) 656-3252.
Catering is also available through Spectra’s Food Services & Hospitality, an upscale caterer
experienced in fulfilling all backstage and dressing room riders. Please contact (609) 656-3252 to
discuss all of your specific catering needs.
Merchandise/Novelties
The Center sells merchandise and will retain a percentage of net merchandise/novelty sales,
dependent upon the event contract. Net sales shall be gross receipts minus credit card fees.
The City of Trenton may also require a vending permit. Please contact us for additional
information.
Marketing Services
Sun National Bank Center’s “In-House” agency can assist you with the numerous details involved
to successfully market your event. Our agency can provide for the production and placement
of print and electronic advertising at the standard rate of 15% of the gross advertising cost. For a
negotiated fee (based on time, labor and expenses) Sun National Bank Center can also assist
with promotions, public relations and publicity needed to ensure ticket sales. Promoters can also
take advantage of the Sun National Bank Center Advertising Program. Our Group Sales
Department would be happy to implement a group sales program for your event, at a low
commission rate of only 10% of the overall group dollars (plus reimbursement of direct expenses).
Meeting Room Space
The Sun National Bank Center offers meeting room space for promoters and
local businesses throughout Mercer County prior to events or on non-event
days. We have four meeting room options: (1) Theatre setting accommodates
500 to 3,000 people; (2) Executive Board Room holds 12-15 people; (3) The East
Club accommodates 80 to 100 people; (4) The West Club holds events for 80 to
100 people. We also offer convenient parking, full service catering and
audio/visual equipment for use and rental. Please call 609-656-3210 for rates

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Alcohol
No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the Sun National Bank Center. Alcoholic
beverages will be sold by Spectra’s Food Services & Hospitality during events. No alcoholic
beverages may be consumed in the parking lot.
Cameras and Recording Devices
As a general rule, cameras and recording devices of any kind are not permitted inside the
Center. This is subject to change on en event-by-event basis. If by chance, a guest brings a
camera or recording device to an event, the guest will be asked to return that item to his or her
vehicle. The Center cannot hold any personnel property belonging to a guest.
General Rules
Helium balloons are not permitted in the building.
The cost of removing excessive tape will be the responsibility of the tenant.
Stickers and adhesive backed decals are not to be given out in or around the building.
Nails and screws are not to be driven into the center floor and walls
Guest Conduct
Sun National Bank Center strives to provide its guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable
atmosphere. Therefore, the Center has established the following guidelines:
1. Guests interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the event may be subject to ejection
2. Guests using foul or abusive language, or inappropriate or unacceptable gestures may be
ejected from the Center
3. Guests appearing impaired may be ejected from the Center and turned over to the authorities.
Guidelines for Exhibiting Motorized Vehicles
 There shall be no refueling of vehicles inside the building.
 There shall be an adequate amount of fire extinguishers in and around the area where the
vehicle is being displayed.
 Vehicle keys must at all times be readily available and keys for vehicles left unattended or
overnight must be given to Sun National Bank Center Management
 Any vehicle with any type of leak will not be permitted to be brought into the building.
 The maximum amount of fuel contained shall be no more than 1/4 tank or 5 gallons per
vehicle.
 Batteries must be disconnected at all times while in the building except for move-in and
move-out.
 There shall not be any storage of flammable fuel in the building except for that which is in the
vehicle.
 There shall be no repair work done on vehicles while inside the building.
 Fuel tank doors must be locked or fuel caps taped shut.
 Vehicles may not be started except for move-in and move-out.
 Cleaning of vehicles is the responsibility of the vehicle owner and must follow Center policies.

Leaflets/Brochures
Distribution of any printed materials, or selling of any items is prohibited on the Sun National Bank
Center grounds, including the parking lots, walkways, and inside the Arena unless permission from
Sun National Bank Center management has been granted.
Re-Entry into Arena
Once a guest leaves the Center during an event, there is no re-entry permitted unless another
ticket is purchased.
Re-selling of Tickets (Huckstering/Scalping)
Re-selling of tickets by private parties is prohibited on Sun National Bank Center property.
Selling of Illegal Merchandise (Bootlegging)
Selling of illegal merchandise (merchandise not sold under the approval of Sun National Bank
Center management) is prohibited on Sun National Bank Center property as well as by law.
Smoking
Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted inside Sun National Bank Center. Designated
smoking areas are provided for certain events.
Sponsorships
Sun National Bank Center owns signage rights inside and outside the Arena. Any advertising signs
or banners that tenants wish to display must be pre-approved by Sun National Bank Center.
