Installation Procedures

Capabilities: Wood, Propane, or Natural Gas. If you choose to
configure for propane or natural gas, please seek a licensed
professional to install piping.
Pavestone’s Rumble Wall Fireplace includes:
(1) 36” Stainless Steel Fireplace Insert
(1) 48” Stainless Steel Fireplace Stack
(1) Black Chimney Cap
(2) 56” Galvanized steel (2”x2” 1/8”) Angle Iron
(231) Rumbled Wall Rectangles
(56) Rumbled Wall Squares
(23) Pavestone 18” Cap
(24) Tubes 10.15 oz. of concrete adhesive
Tools Required:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety Goggles, hearing protection, dust mask
Rubber Mallet
Level (6” preferred)
6-8 foot ladder
Tape measure
10 oz. Calk Gun
12” Saw with Diamond Blade (Cap cuts required)
Speed Square

Concrete Pad Installation:
Pavestone’s Rumble Wall Fireplace is designed for installation on a concrete pad. Use map
below to determine the zone of your project & construct the appropriate foundation.

Step 1: 22 Rectangles/1 Square

Note: Center the fire insert 8” inches from the face. Insert has been removed to provide the details of
block locations in until Step 7. Keep insert in place.

Not: Cut 3 Cap 13” long x 10” wide

Note- Place Angle Iron pieces evenly across the front two “on end” rectangle pieces as
shown

Use a chisel or guillotine to split 4 cap 16” long and place them at the corners cap B
Use a diamond blade saw to cut 4 cap at 14 ¼” long cap C
Fill in other spaces with standard caps cap A

Is a standard 18” Cap

Split 2” from the end of the cap to make them 16” long. Repeat this for 4 caps.

Cutting Details for Layer 18 Caps:

Standard 18” Cap
Snap at 16” Long to create two snapped faces

Cut 4 caps to this dimension
Exposed faces are split sides
First: Cut the back of cap so you have a rough face and a saw cut
back 10” deep
Second Cut: Cut the block to be 11” long

Finished dimension is 10”x11” with one rock face along the 11” side
