We want to wish all of the Newly Elected and Re-Elected Local & Unit
Officers Congratulations and Good Luck for the new term of office. Being a
union officer in these times can be enjoyable, challenging, frustrating and
definitely involving. We hope that all of you will be active not only in your
Locals and Units but with the Region and our committee events. As we start
the new term let’s not let any past campaigning mar what could be a very
important time for everyone to keep their eyes on the ball and remember
that we are elected for the MEMBERS. At every turn management is trying
to come after us, and what we have for so long and so hard worked for. Our
new officers are now obliged to pick up the CSEA Banner and carry it
proudly to support those that supported you. We on the Public Relations
Committee plan to be available to you all for your PR needs, please feel free
to contact us with any pictures of installations, events, etc. Also please send
any stories of your membership that you would like to share with the region.
We want to make CSEA a household name in a POSITIVE light, with your
help we can achieve this goal sooner rather than later.
In Solidarity,
Rich
Suffolk Retirees Local 920 recently held their annual luncheon at which
time Region One President Nick LaMorte installed New President Millie
Lucas with their slate of new officers and gave outgoing President Barbara
Reynolds a wonderful thank you for her service.
