Why do people join/renew the NSRCA?; how can you rebrand the NSRCA; what are our goals? Scott suggested that a mission statement be written (Joe will do this) Access to KFactor is an issue; Paul joined for the KFactor; this is the single and greatest asset Old issues are available on the web site Suggested that “teaser” articles made available to nonmembers Make the web site more transparent Create a link for all articles with indexing; there can be a drop down FAQ tab on the web page Jon Carter will call a special meeting to discuss the web site in the next few weeks Anthony Romano suggested that when building, or technical articles are written, Derek be alerted; he can post on the FAQ page; it is up to the author of the article to inform Derek Joe will work on a new mission statement Derek stated that there are modules that can search .pdf files for specific information; it will be for member access only New Business District Championship -‐ Mark Barnett (D5) pointed out that last year, the Sportsman Champion won by only 2-‐3 points; also, he only won one contest; many of the competitors were not NSRCA members; what can be done to encourage membership?; maybe a discount fee for the contest can be offered to join the NSRCA -‐ John Bentley (D7) suggested that at the AMA EXPO, held in January, the contest schedule for all the districts be posted; there should be a standardized method of acquiring district championship points; Scott countered that some districts are too large to have a district championship contest; D6 is a good example of this Next meeting will be scheduled in early April; there will be a meeting concerning the web site before then Meeting adjourned at 2120 CDT
